Just guessing. System rain on chat box are totally random. Active user can't guarantee be get many% chance the rain. At least stake 1 chat to guarantee you're one have chance get the rain in next round. But windice have strong community, so you'll never enough to say " Hi ". 'cause everyone will metion you as welcoming.
No one knows which kind of algorithm the Windice site use to identify rain drop receivers for each round of rain drop on their site. However, you wrote it likely is random rain drops, so we should not expect too much with rain drop randomization, even there are actually algorithm use to make it. And, the team will never disclose such algorithm they used on their site for you, believe me. You should just consider it as small gift from Windice site when you have funny chat (not spam).

You can really make a decent amount of money if you remain active in chat for atleast one hour(yeah spammers are always ignored).

Windice team have never put their users down, so far. Even when the site faced with exploits from abusers with more than 3 BTC lost, maybe I remembered they nearly lost 3 BTC. Then, they announced to users, put the site under maintenance, and after that they supported users who got issues with the attacks well. I don't see users say they got issues with that attack, maybe only the site attacked and lost. After all, things have gone well so far.

I have never faced with those browser problems and also never heard people faced it before. There are two reasons why people use vpn to visit the site, first because of their internet connection is to slow/poor and the second thing is the site has a possibility of banning IP address from some country. But I am pretty sure that windice do not do it (ban IP address).

The affiliate system was one of the ways to make more money from the referral, but for me, I think it's too difficult especially if I offer my friends about the gambling games. Moreover as earlier reports stated that, you often see an "Establishing secure connection" error when you use a slow Internet service. But i guess it got fixed in the later half and the site wad working fine with slow Internet too(yeah may varies if you have snail speed).
