The halving is indeed coming for Bitcoin, only nobody will ever know what can happen with the value of Bitcoin and that is the problem, some are thinking that it will keep stable.
But the most are hoping that the value will rise in the future, but we cant control it.

Not necessary to see it rising only as the price is already high currently if you see the charts correctly, as the price was $210 before and now it is over $420, so do you still think that halving's effect is yet to be seen???
Whatever you will see will shock everyone... Wink

since it wasn't a sudden rise then yes i am still waiting for a halving rise (or a bubble) to happen. the rise from $200 to $420 did not happen in a short time not even 1-2 months, it tool a very long time with slow and steady rise to this point with a lot of ups and down. i like to believe that is just the natural growth of bitcoin from $1 back a couple years ago to $420 now excluding the big rally.

The halving rise could have just started. The price has risen from $420 t $445 now. It will rise slowly.

The halving will have effect mostly after the halving event, or even several months after. This happened in 2013.

Yeah the effect of the halving will only take place months after the halving and there we will see the real price of bitcoin.

Let's assume that we reach a new ATH of $1,700, what do you do?

well chances that it will happen are very small, price of bitcoin because of halving will rise for sure, but i don't think that it will rise from 430$ to 1700$ just because of halving, if price will rise other days too then it might rise to 1700$

highest it will go is i think 850$ and not more, price we have now is too small to dream about new ATH, about 2700$

The halving can make things happen with in Bitcoin. With the halving you will get the opportunity to buy more coins for a cheaper price. And the halving will attract many peoples attention.

If it reached that level I would be kicking myself for not getting more but I would probably sell some and buy back cheaper as that price will not be stable.

The price below $430 is good to buy. We might see the price around $420 in the next few months.

In the coming months the price of bitcoin will slowly go up because of the halving and with the halving the price will not be same as today.

The halving is the only event that we are waiting for and everyone is waiting for it to gain money and with this halving the price will change.

And what is the reason why you think this is going to happen?
Any explanations for that? Or just a wild guess and pure speculation?

There are many people that is saying that the value of Bitcoin will not rise after the halving, and I think that it is true because you see that the value is now still stable now.

And many people are not happy with the value that is now not rising at the moment and I understand that because everyone wants to make profit with Bitcoin fast.

Let's assume that we reach a new ATH of $1,700, what do you do?

Sell all my coins for USD, convert them to pennies, and shove every penny up my ass.

If i would have the chance then i would immediately sell a part of my savings in bitcoin for cash, then the other part i would invest in any altcoin and/or i would hold the bitcoin for a longer time.

lol why in the world would you invest in some sh*t-coin ? Dont even uderstand the selling part.. Bitcoin is like wine, it just gets better with years , so better
to just hold it until thees not even the need to trade it for fiat

you invest in altcoin because they have higher speculation right now when bitcoin is stagnant, it's a way to earn more out of your bitcoin pockets, instead of just holding

it's hard to lose with some altcoin, it's basically easy to tell which one will skyrocket

Since I don't have a huge amount of bitcoin kept, I will just be converting my coins to fiat when we reach the ATH this year..I will just leave a few again in my wallet, And probably make it grow again...  Smiley

well to be honest i don't think that we will go to 1700$ atleast not in 2016, as highest we can go is 1000$ and not more

but if we will go to 1700$ someday, first thing i will do is sell them, because i don't think that huge price like this will stay for long, so will sell now to avoid profit loss

anything is possible these days, i see a lot of accumulation by the big whales. all those bitcoins that they have been buying and are still buying should go somewhere. and they are not going to be satisfied with $1000 and such.
