Christmas was over now and all wolf.bet did was add in xrp into their website and continue the infamous 1000 dollars daily race.

I am not going to argue against them because they are literally going to give away 365 thousand dollars per year, that is more than most places give out in their life time, hell most places have marketing in the sense of "if you can win it, you take the reward, if you can't it is free marketing for us" type of stuff, like jackpots are jackpot for a reason, it stays in their account for so long that dudes could even make money from interest rates by the time the reward is requested (at which time they will say it is on cold wallet and withdraw from the interest and then pay you) so long story short wolf.bet is much better than almost 99.99% of places when it comes to giving away... but not a single promotion on Christmas does look really bad.
I would assume the best case would be having an extra competition, that way wolf.bet would have some sort of return on their investment as well. Just to give an example, lets say they give out 1 bitcoin for the winners (doesn't have to be 1 bitcoin, that is kinda a lot but it is an example) and they made it heard weeks beforehand so that everyone knows there is a 1 bitcoin give away from the website to anyone who participates right? That would yield with at least 1 bitcoin lost just to wager enough and participate in something like that.

We don't know if the gamblers will win money or lose more than 1 bitcoin and that is a risk that wolf.bet would have to take in that situation. However if gamblers lose more than they win, that could be both a profit for wolf.bet AND a great marketing.

Yeah,,, I do not get totally why people complain for the "small" 1000 daily prizes. I have noticed the psychology of crypto gamblers here and it is that if a casino gives them something free,,, they will complain. But if you ask people to pay for it, there are no one around to complain because complaints come from nonpaying custmers.

They did miss out Chrismas though I agree that is missed opportunity!

like seriously? u guys never give any christmas bonus?? that is so disappointing. you shpuld atleast give something to the guys with the highest wager

But they made daily $1,000 wagering contest, when other do it weekly, monthly or give bonuses only when there is a major update Smiley What else do you want ? Maybe free balance ? Cheesy

There is other site do it even twice daily, I mean wolfbet is not the only site that offers daily wagering contest.
What he mean to say is probably something special for Christmas celebration while the daily wagering contest is a usual contest already for wolfbet.
Something special for Christmas should not be free balance but it can be something else.
It can be special wagering contest with bigger prize or it can be something else.

I'm a little curious about Wolf.bet, are the team of Wolf Bet has any plan or goal of adding new feature of the gambling site? Just like a sportsbook? I don't know yet if the site is already ready for this because I just saw on some gambling site (stake and fortunejack) which started with only dice games or casino but they have now new added features which are Sportsbook.

Looking forward to seeing a sportsbook on wolf bet since I already experienced playing dice games on the site and I want to experience sports betting too.

thats a nice suggestion man  . adding more games can make a gambling site more appealing imo  but this site wolfbet is not that old enough , i mean they might be observing their site if all runs well and are also listening to the feedback of other gamblers  not just our's  .  you know some peeps only like one game too and many peeps like dice     .  if they can improve thier dice game more evenly then that would be a good idea before planning out other idea  .

It is cool that they actually ended up adding the manual client seed literally in few days after that was a discussion, it was obvious they weren't scamming anyone because if they were there would have been a proof already, there are so many maniac people who lose money to casinos and for some reason blame casinos for being cheaters (casinos have house edge, you will lose, there is no hidden secret to steal your money) and if wolf.bet ever tried to cheat one of those people would have figured it out.

However, this manual client seed basically just a proof, kinda of a method for wolf.bet to say "we don't steal, if you want manual, here it is" and just a show of how legitimate they are. I don't support any casinos trustworthiness 100% but this move is definitely a 100% move right here.

Yeah, but they're probably not. If they did rig it, they would only be able to manipulate the first ~few bets in a sequence (because the nonce system makes it implausible to find a malicious server-seed to rig more than a few bets in a sequence) and more importantly: they would've be vulnerable to someone knowing they're rigging and betting the opposite way.

It's definitely no where near as severe as the wixiplay one (they can rig virtually every bet, and can do it risklessly) but it's still garbage for a provably fair system.

I think I agree here. Good that you guys pointed it out, and even better that the site has accepted it and now promised to fix it but this is the big problem with this industry,,, that the concept of provably fair is not fully understood (even I myself to be honest cannot have possibly understood all of this by myself).

I think the fact that they said they will change it means they did not intend to do it like this. Let us see!

Bitdice is scam scam scammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Going against Rhavar on a subject of provably fair topic is really not a very smart decision.

Now, I am not saying you should change the way you are doing provably fair, you have hundreds of customers and constantly over 50+ users no matter whenever I look which means there are enough people who like to play here as it is and doesn't need to change it to keep playing.

However, if you want to read what Rhavar is saying either just ignore it and keep doing whatever you want to do or fix what you are doing with the helpful feedback of him, these are two options that makes sense. Trying to prove Rhavar wrong or trying to convince him that your system works won't be really liked since it won't work, dude knows what he is talking about and won't change the reality just for you, either ignore him or get help but don't fight.
Do you read replies at all before you type?
I am sorry that it looked that way, I was just agreeing to it. I was trying to say in general "you" is like "anyone who has a casino" and not you in wolf.bet alone. I didn't read Rhavars latest one before me but I wrote that knowing that wolf.bet is doing something to improve their provably fair and agreeing with Rhavar on the subject which is what you should do, if you don't do THAT (which is what wolf.bet is doing so the rest is unimportant) you should ignore him.

I was just trying to say those are the options, you have to either fix it or ignore it but there is no fighting which is literally what happened. My play by play of the situation was worded horribly I totally agree with you on that one, sorry but English is not my native language so sometimes I can't explain myself as well as I would like to.

I'm still having troubles to understand you.

@RHavar to avoid any concerns and misunderstanding we will implement the manual input of the client seed ASAP. Once we do this I will let you know so please test it out again and point any imperfections you find. We don't want any understatement in this matter

Sure, I'd be happy to review it. As long as the user can set it, it should be fine. And I'd also strongly advise that the server should **never** generate a client seed. If you want a default one, have the client generate it automatically (after seeing the server-seed-hash) and send it to the server. So from the user-point experience point of view it's the same, just the generation is happening client-side.

With that, it should be all good  Grin

With all this being said, does that mean they could have manipulated results for players?

Yeah, but they're probably not.
