^ It seems you are not a gambler here but a bounty hunter, because you are hunting the reward of the gambling site to gamble instead make a deposit and gamble your own. Probably that is a part of their marketing strategy and it could be a free test, with a small amount I don't know how could you increase it and be able to withdraw with the minimum amount of withdrawal. ~
Couldn't get your point. Are you addressing me as one of those abusers or you have said it as an example? It's almost two years I have created my account at wolf.bet and I claimed the 7 days streak only eight times till now (Check it here). Occasionally I play at wolf.bet and I always do it with my deposits.

If this is the behavior of most users, Wolfbet will probably do not needed them to stay on that gambling site, they don't even gamble through their own money.
This basically applies to all crypto gambling sites. So many gamblers regularly try to abuse faucets even though it's dust promoting the sites to take strict action against them.
Instead of being used properly, it was misused only for the sake of withdrawal later, I think this will be firm from the team that changes must occur and should not be abused again, and indeed the faucet is only intended for new players to try to make this promotion a success.

To be honest he is not a real gambler and only takes advantage of the faucet prizes.
I think the decisive action is well deserved.

I still work in crypto space, but thanks to being very early, I have been here for a long time and that allowed me to work non-stop to both grow my name and skills, but also network as well all of which combined allowed me to find jobs in crypto and I haven't been to any office in 5 years, I just worked at home and made all the money I needed and I am not a poor person neither, definitely not rich of course but not poor neither, I live a decent life all thanks to crypto and that is a great thing.
I agree. The ability to work without any sort of pressure is possible through just a couple of jobs in this world and earning through crypto content is one of them which makes it very appealing.

Personally, I have earned decent amounts through cryptocurrencies(Trading, Gambling, Content Creation etc) just like you over a long period of time.

7 days streak login reward is a marketing strategy to attract people to play, it's similar like faucet or free money. If your purpose to play with the bonus until reach withdrawal limit, it's the reason why they remove the 7 days streak reward to prevent from people abusing the bonus.
Their TOS already mention withdraw any winnings from faucet is not allowed.
Just noticed that they have restricted faucet withdrawal and mentioned it in their TOS. How people were abusing there with the amount of 7 days streak? The amount was really small. A real gambler never depends on the 7 days streak. However, removing the 7 days streak reward will create some impact (lack) on their marketing. Some small gamblers stay active on a casino for this kind of rewards and occasionally plays with good deposit amount. Wolf.bet may loss those user.

Almost all crypto investors including me regret not buying BTC during its initial stages since majority of us were not even aware that such a currency existed.

I can understand why you feel bad about losing millions since I felt the same way sometime back(Though the amount that I would have gained is way lower in comparison), but the silver lining is that you still earned something regardless.

Imagine how the infamous Pizza guy felt. Very few crypto investors have the patience and resolve to HODL their cryptocurrencies for years.
That is basically what I am finding comfort in right now. Yes there were a lot of people who lost a lot of "potential profit" and that is good to compare yourself to, I mean ffs it is 10k bitcoin for a pizza that is FOUR HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS!!! However the real silver lining for me is basically what you said; being able to live with my crypto income for the past 5 years.

The 7-day streak was nice when prizes were in crypto (before the bull run)... when they switched to USDT and 1 cent first day, it stopped being interesting! When you think about those prizes at today's prices they gave a lot of money, the first day for Doge was 3 Doges!

...

I hear some rumors... adding slots is close! I saw some pictures, Wolf will be awesome! Smiley
Any dates?

It is just a sad situation to lose money no matter when, I agree with that, but it is also not the same, if you look at how many bitcoins I have spent total on gambling, and calculate it based on today's money (or even peak) then you would think that I am some super wealthy person, however the reality is that I have spent under 5k total in fiat in 8 years, which is not very little I agree but let's be honest less than 1k per year total is not that much neither, there are people who wager more than that in one try.

However I didn't see bitcoin reaching these levels that is true, if I kept them today they would have worth insane amount of money, but I have gained over 100 btc total in my life and probably made under 100k total because I sold most of them under 100k, the highest was at 20k but that was like 500 bucks, so once again my total comes under 100k, for 100 bitcoins, that is over 3 million dollars today.

Not having a vision and not seeing bitcoin growing this much kept me from being a wealthy person today unfortunately, but I am still quite happy that it allowed me to live a richer life than most people I know in my age and in my friends group.
Yeah, i also see a faucet site ever give us 5 btc just only solve the captcha back then in 2011 while bitcoin still in early days.

But i also agree you shouldn't be worried about not HODL that bitcoin because you think it was just only few hundred bucks.

All of which means that it is not about how much you gamble, but how you see crypto, if you see it as ever going up (which I do) and end up losing money, then it means you know that it is going to be more money in the future, your 100 bucks bet today is 200 bucks in a few years at most, probably quicker, and maybe even a thousand bucks in a decade. People should gamble knowing that.

@janggernaut I second that 2.5 btc in any year is a huge amount, and like you’ll I too had tried to chase my losses and almost ended up selling my house before I suddenly recovered and limited my gambling venture.

Oh damn it, sorry to hear that. Fortunately you didn't sell your house from that time. Having a limit in gambling is one of money management, without that, surely we will always be chasing and trying to recover our losses before or want to win more in gambling

2.5 btc is 2.5 btc dude, doesn't matter the price but you still lose a lot for me. I myself have lose too in gambling, but it was much smaller than yours.
1 of way to prevent gambling addict is by limit the amount we can gamble just like you did. Spare $50 , $100, or $200 for each month will limit us to gamble more and lose more if we aren't lucky, and that's maybe she must do with her BF about his gambling addict
Lol, you should have seen the early days then, the free faucets were about 1 bitcoin, because they basically didn't worth anything at that point or very little. So, what I gambled with was about 1 bitcoin which was I assume something like 80-100 bucks or something like that at most, and then gambled it all the way up to 2.5 bitcoins, and then lost it. It is not really that much different than what I do today, the "value" of it was very low.

So... enjoy gambling! Don't play to return what you lost, you will get into deep trouble!
The story is true or not, it doesn't change the fact there were or will be people who have same problem like that. It's an example of greediness will kill you in the end. You (us) trying to recover what we lose before in gambling, but unfortunatelly we ended up more lose than before.

I just want to know, did his BF or whoever is that, gamble on Wolfbet?
I have lost about 2.5 bitcoins this way. Thankfully this was around a time when 2.5 bitcoin was worth maybe 200 bucks or so, it wasn't today and if I know myself very well I would have sold those coins the second bitcoin reached 500 bucks each, probably earlier, so I am not worried about it too much. However I had it, it was still 200 bucks lost, and even today I do not gamble with that much, I set myself a limit of 50 bucks per month and this prevented me losing a lot.

It means I have 50 bucks to gamble all month, I can gamble it all in a single bet and lose it on the first hour of the month and never gamble for a whole month, or I could try to be careful and end up winning a ton of money if I am lucky, or just lose enough that I will have zero on the last day of the month, doesn't matter no matter what I do the max I will spend monthly is 50 bucks. To be more precise it is 50 bucks deposited every month, so if I get lucky and have 400 bucks in second day, then I will keep gambling with it, just not deposit again.

Also any idea if their sports book will have special promotions for premier league, because I’m keen to keep an eye on all promotions as this year teams like West Ham can suddenly challenge the top 4 teams, hence a very exciting year for the gamblers.

This is exactly what I pointed out several times earlier. Using altcoins as an alternative option does help, but there are many gamblers who depend primarily on BTC for deposits and withdrawals for various reasons.
Because Bitcoin is a most favorite and main cryptocurrency for us, in investment, trading and gambling. Altcoins as their names, are only our alternatives, not main choice.

The high withdrawal fee plus TX fees plus long withdrawal time makes BTC the least favorable payment method on this site currently.

$13 withdrawal fee for BTC still sucks, but it is an improvement for sure. They need to cut corners here and there if they wish to keep up with the competition in my opinion.
Lightning network can help to resolve it but gambling sites don't accept Lightning network. With the fast growth of Lightning network since the last year, I think gambling sites will add LN as deposit and withdrawal methods soon.

It is currently around 3-4 dollars on transaction fee, and I believe charging 13 dollars on something that costs 3-4 dollars is not a good look for wolf.bet, where does that extra money go to? Plus if you could change the withdrawal fee to let's say 5 dollars, then you can change the minimum withdraw to 10 dollars as well.

I just feel like wolf.bet is not acting quick enough, but otherwise they are totally fine with everything else, and when you are a MAJOR crypto casino, it is not easy to change it every day, it is understandable.
