I just checked and it is about 13 dollars or so to withdraw right now and the minimum withdraw is about 30 dollars or so. I have to say it is "better" since it is not 20+ dollars to withdraw, but it is still not enough to be fair. I have to say that is not wolf.bet fault though, have you guys checked the transaction fee of bitcoin recently?

We have reached 10 dollars just 10 days ago, yes it doesn't look that high anymore but it was, and Wolf.bet is very late to reply, that is the thing we can argue. It is currently around 3-4 dollars on transaction fee, and I believe charging 13 dollars on something that costs 3-4 dollars is not a good look for wolf.bet, where does that extra money go to? Plus if you could change the withdrawal fee to let's say 5 dollars, then you can change the minimum withdraw to 10 dollars as well.

I just feel like wolf.bet is not acting quick enough, but otherwise they are totally fine with everything else, and when you are a MAJOR crypto casino, it is not easy to change it every day, it is understandable.

So... enjoy gambling! Don't play to return what you lost, you will get into deep trouble!
The story is true or not, it doesn't change the fact there were or will be people who have same problem like that. It's an example of greediness will kill you in the end. You (us) trying to recover what we lose before in gambling, but unfortunatelly we ended up more lose than before.

I just want to know, did his BF or whoever is that, gamble on Wolfbet?

I don't see why this story would be fake considering the fact that the person who posted that post has literally nothing to gain by lying about it. It sounds legit to me and it seems like that person didn't want others to go through that sad experience.

Also, I guess her boyfriend lost the money on Wolf.bet(Even though she didn't implicitly state it) which is why she posted about it here.

I still don't buy it! I don't see why this story would be real... all this sounds like it's from some gambling addiction book written by some anti-gambling person! A person who doesn't really gamble spent over 10 ETH in two days?! What kind of crazy gambling session is that?!

And I am definitely not buying:

Maybe the goal was to tarnish a casino reputation! Calling it a scam, and talking about how 200 pages on bitcointalk say otherwise...  It's like crypto casinos are scams, and here we support all that with comments! What a joke... there's not a single ANN casino thread here that is clear from negative comments!

By the way, wagering over $10k at Wolf will make you a VIP...
Quote
By becoming a VIP, not only you get 15% rakeback but also a daily spin on the exclusive wheel that pays up to 30% lossback every 24h

So if this really happened it's not like that everything is lost! Several times I won a nice lossback from that VIP wheel, over 20-25%!

Do you really believe in this story?! From all the forums, from all the sections here on this forum, from all those "gambling addictions" threads in the gambling section... this girl decided to write in the Wolf thread... I don't buy this!

Sorry this is kind of a wall of text (also first time actually posting on a forum so bare with me)

Your BF is addicted with gambling, you as the one who always with him should be control his bad habits or he will ended up more addicted and try to sell anything in house to play again to recover his loss before. Just block any credit cards and don't let him gamble again once he recovered. But why did you posted on wolfbet? Did your BF playing on wolfbet and lose 10ETH?

But this story reminded me of something... there is an old saying "Mother didn't cry because her son is gambling, she cried because he was trying to return what he lost"!
When people try to return what is lost, they tend to push harder to play more aggressively... and that kind of play can pay off sometimes, but not so often as most of us would like, from my own experience! Playing like that is a huge risk for any bankroll!

So... enjoy gambling! Don't play to return what you lost, you will get into deep trouble!

I'm not saying all casinos are scams like taking your money and laughing at you .. But like they have a advantage so they'll always win in the end. I mean I'm not throwing shade at this particular casino - it could have been any. Idk. I'm just said he's sad. Especially this sad. That he tried to hurt himself. He's never gambled before (like this, online I guess I mean) and I didn't really know what to do.

If you have a problem, please ask for help is what I'm saying. Go outside. Sit in the grass. Enjoy the sun.

I didn't realize this got so long. Apologies.
I understand your opinion. Communication is important in these kind of situations. He should have apologized to you by reflecting on his actions instead of making the situation worse by hurting himself.

I hope he recovers quickly and controls his gambling addiction asap. People who are addicted/obsessed with gambling end up losing money majority of the time irrespective of whether they gambled with FIAT/Crypto.

Tell him that he can always check this forum out if he is looking for advice regarding gambling since many people here are willing to share their knowledge.

Well.

I only recently got into crypto because my longtime boyfriend got pretty into eth recently. It was fine until a week or two ago - the moment he found out you could gamble your coins .. well "hey I turned one coin into 2!" He became completely consumed by it.

He sat there all day and night. I tried to get him to stop.

Kept saying he just needed to get our coins back. He ended up maxing out both of our credit cards. Multiple cards. Well I didn't realize that until I got a call from his mom saying he was in the hospital and Uber kept failing to go through.

That's when I checked the cards that were attached to the Uber account and saw what happened. He kept buying more coins to try to win back what he lost. He lost over 10 coins I think.

I feel like I failed him. I couldn't get him to stop.

It's been a long two days.

I'm happy he's mostly okay.. like I mean it could have been worse. He fractured his ribcage and broke his hand and arm pretty badly. Evidently he rode his bike into a mack truck ...

I don't know. I guess I'm posting here because I looked up crypto casinos a week ago when I tried to get him to stop. Tried to explain they were a scam and he said "there's a 200 page thread on bitcointalk that says otherwise." Figured I'd come here and vent on this massive post

What you are saying makes sense, but that isn't an excuse to charge $20 as the withdrawal fees for BTC. Just look at the competition. Sites like Stake, Primedice etc charge $7 while sites like Bitcasino don't charge any withdrawal fees for BTC.

How do you think they are surviving in the market? This is why Wolf.bet needs to drop the BTC withdrawal fees asap in my opinion.
Many exchanges and casinos apply static withdrawal fees and they don't apply dynamic withdrawal fee. It is convenient bfir them and operations because fee estimators can be broken then give bad, inaccurate estimation.

Inaccuracy can cause longer waiting time, and over or lower paid fees but I agree it can bring benefit for customers. I don't think it will affect or worsen their experience.

Wolf.bet decide to take action and give better experience, give customers more bonus from withdrawal fees. I appreciate their responses to the community voice.
That is the thing about the customer support and a great casino. At the end of the day if a place checks what the customers are saying and then do something about it that is a good casino, hell it is a great casino which is why I think it matters a lot. That is why I think there is a whole lot of things to be learned by wolf.bet team and then we could basically do whatever we like because they are helping us out a lot whenever we need something. Withdrawal fee thingy needed to be fixed, they tried something now and if we like it then we could just end up saying that we didn't like this and tell them to change it to something else.

I personally feel like I haven't tried this enough because I haven't withdrawn yet, but after I withdraw some more money in the future I will end up saying if I like this version or simply straight out cheaper situation.

About wallets, consolidate small inputs, maintenance and secure wallets, broadcast transactions, etc. They need to get fees and it is not realistic to waive all transaction fees.
It can result in complaints if transaction fee is not static but flexible with the network. Cheap today can be expensive tomorrow. Cheap sacrifice today from casino can be expensive tomorrow.

^Probably he meant that the withdrawal fee should be the same on the BTC network because as we see BTC transaction fee these days are very like 1 sat or even 5 sats and that is not $20, it is totally different. I don't know why most of the gambling sites have their own fixed rate withdrawal payment while even others can manage a small transaction fee or even it is free fee like FurtuneJack, Bitcasino, and Sportsbet, it seems they are generous gambling site on this way and I think I agree with you, $20 for the fee is too much, it could be small gamblers will not comeback.

Maybe to fasten up the withdrawal processing and they cannot receive any complain regarding on stuck transaction or anything related to that issues. But I agree with you here paying such huge fees is not good maybe they should  lower down according to recommended transaction fee of the network so that  gamblers will not complain about this when btc transaction fee became more  lesser. Provably existing gamblers will be happy if they follow what 3 gambling site you mention did unto this.

Bitcoin transaction fee depends on mempool and how many waiting transactions on the network, in mempools. If Wolf.bet or any casino want to attract users by reducing the transaction fee or waive the fee, they will have to accept loss.

The loss can be small if transaction fee on the network is not too expensive but it will be too much to waive if fee rises to the Moon. Gambling sites are as same as crypto exchanges, they have to do many things for their operations.

As a marketing move I do not think that casinos should be giving stuff for free in that regard. Sure do a big promotion or bonus or competition and what not, because those do get attention, look at bitcointalk even here there are places with 100k+ rewards, and that is good but to say that you will not get withdrawal fee then you end up with both paying a ton of money to keep withdrawal fee cheap or free and then still not doing that much marketing, which is not what a casino needs.

I believe it is fine to have bitcoin withdrawals paid, but make it dynamic and then we could talk about the situation of what you can charge, if the mempool is filled then it will be higher, if it is empty it will be lower and it will change constantly. No matter what they end up doing, paying more than most other places is not acceptable and paying zero would be not ideal for casino, so they need to lower it to a competitive level that's it.

This is great news for those who BNB believer, as BNB will be burn their coin in 16th burning soon, obviously BNB price will be increased more than now. Does that mean, wolfbet finally supported BSC chain to deposit? There is a chance for other coin and token to accept on wolfbet too in the future which running on BSC chain.
Well, with the burning going on soon, there will be a big reaction to the increase in the price of BNB in the future, but so far the price is still in the $300s range and there may still be no significant changes to this BNB burning

The BSC chain has been liked a lot even large projects have now integrated many into the BSC chain. Wolfbet would be more than happy if Wolfbet added the BSC chain network and this made it easier for us to do cheaper transactions, with the adoption of other tokens.

Changpeng Zao supports BNB very good by integrations of many promotions, burn and buy-back events as well as building up the Binance Smart Chain.

In the future when Binance Smart Chain launches its native main net, you know what you will see with BNB on exchanges. It will be shilled on social media as an oppennt that will make a flippening with Ethereum. What price do you think BNB will have ?
$1000, $2000 or $4000?

now after they have said several times that they will definitely solve the problem in 24 hours, they say that you have to wait 72 hours, wait wait wait, this is the worst thing that can happen to a player. WAIT.
At least you got your money back, you just didn't patient to wait. Many sites ussually will settle this kind of problem in 72 hours, that's why they told you to wait. You just inpatient and want your money back asap, when they need to check and do other things to do.

I think the point for people is that even if there are other coins that could be played, they still prefer bitcoin to be cheap, because why not? At the end of the day even if there are coins that could be free to withdraw and deposit, this is not an excuse for bitcoin to be one of the most expensive ones in the world. Pressure the casino to drop the bitcoin price to a normal place so that it would be fair to people who will play with bitcoin but also just handle it in a way that it would show the world that wolf.bet is not an expensive one and all of those will be easier.

I mean it is definitely not a horrible idea to have wolf.bet do a marketing campaign as having cheapest bitcoin withdrawal fee and minimum withdrawal, that is just what they could do to get some more attention. Otherwise if we just moved to altcoins at every time a place charges high for bitcoin then we are just letting them take the charge and that is just not what customers do.

Take a look at this table.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/table-withdrawal-fees-and-withdrawal-amounts-on-crypto-casinos-5333602

Wolf.bet literally charges the 3rd highest BTC withdrawal fee in the list.

I understand your point of view and I do agree with it to some extent, but I am strictly against the high BTC withdrawal fee since some competitors charge zero BTC withdrawal fee while some charge a couple of dollars. Let's just agree to disagree.
That is why it is definitely A LOT more important to gamble with other coins here, because BTC is even harder here, the withdrawal fee is worse than most other major places and that is just means that playing with BTC here while knowing you are paying one of the biggest costs just means that you literally hate other altcoins, there is no other explanation.

I am not defending wolf.bet here, of course they should drop their bitcoin withdrawal fee, hell make it free if you can because as gamblers why wouldn't we prefer that, however if they are not doing that then why should you still keep on paying that much? Like you have to be fixated on bitcoin so much that you should even ignore the very existence of any other coin in order to keep paying this very high withdrawal fee nearly no other place charges and not gamble with the altcoins that are nearly free compared to it.
I think the point for people is that even if there are other coins that could be played, they still prefer bitcoin to be cheap, because why not? At the end of the day even if there are coins that could be free to withdraw and deposit, this is not an excuse for bitcoin to be one of the most expensive ones in the world.
