There is a series ongoing between Irish women and West Indies women. Ireland lost the ODI series 0-2 (one match was washed out) and they lost the first T20I match as well. The T20I series consists of 3 matches and the remaining two matches will take place on 7th and 9th. BTW, there is another series between the Sri Lanka women and the New Zealand women, that will start on 8th July (ODI series is completed, and SL won 2-1). And finally Indian women are touring Bangladesh for a series of 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The first match will be played on 9th July.
The second T20 match have been won by England Women and they've leveled the series. This makes the third T20 match more interesting. Australia Women have won the toss and decided to bowl. The top order performed well and the same helped England Women reach good score. Danni Wyatt scored 76 runs from 46 balls which is really big and this made England Women set a target of 186/9.

Believe me that the target for the Srilanka was not an easy one but their captain Chamari Athapaththu single handed won this match for them. She scored 140 runs in only 80 balls and it was just treat to watch this innings.

Since both teams have won one match each, this will turn out to be the series decider. New Zealand needs to score runs near 300 in order to confirm thier victory.
First T20 match between the two teams at Birmingham was a close one. Australia women's team won the match just in the last over making it an exciting finish. I am hopeful to see more close matches between the two teams and waiting for the next match which will be played on Wednesday 5th July at The Oval.
I was able to watch the match and since the beginning the two teams have been competing strictly to be able to score runs.If you look at it from the start, even though the matches were very tight and outperformed each other, it was clear to the Australian team that they were a little behind, but when they reached the end round, Australia seemed to have recovered and they managed to catch up to win.
Which is amazing for Australia but unfortunately I didn't get to bet on that match because from the start it was harder to tell who would win the game.

France and Italy have qualified to the Division One of 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier. Top two teams from division one will qualify to the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier. A total of 10 teams are taking part in the World Cup Qualifier, including Ireland and Sri Lanka. Two teams from the qualifier will take part in the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Personally I believe that ICC should have expanded the T20 World Cup to 16 or even 20 countries. With 10 teams, you can't even call it a "world" cup.

Cricket in Southeast Asian Games really helps in the improvement of women's cricket. We need more sporting organisations authorise and give opportunity for the women's cricket, because the popularity of men cricket is far high compared to the women's cricket. In recent years there is good progress, and the same need to continue.
Inclusion of cricket in multi-sport disciplines always help smaller nations. Right now, cricket has been included in competitions such as Southeast Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Pacific Games and Asian Games. And there are talks ongoing to get cricket included in the Summer Olympics. The last one is very crucial. If cricket gets included as an Olympic sport, then a lot of the associate nations will benefit from increased governmental funding. However, the ICC has taken a very hostile approach till now, discouraging any such attempts. The next big boost will come in September 2023, when cricket will be played at the Asian Games.
