Well 3 years is a quite long time and it will be tough for a simple person to hold that long without doing any transaction. Even myself cannot do that, only the people who have willing to wait and truly patient can hold that long but it will be worth. There's might be a lot of phenomenon could occur between that that time but only thing we can assure and that will be bitcoin will have enormous value.

Yes they are truly amazing. Better to imitate them now, who knows what will be the price of Bitcoin by the next 3 year. It is not late for me to save now and on the coming months and hodl for long term goal. Maybe not that young but never to late to have a lot of Bitcoin to pile up, for myself and for my family. If I'm not the one that will benefit my Bitcoin, at least my family.

And those people are particularlybthe ones that do not need that much money because bitcoins is just their investment just a full time investment because they have another source of income and they buy bitcoins and they have bitcoins

I think it's not applicable for me, holding bitcoin for 3 years? no I can't specially I don't have much money to support my needs. This is only applicable to those who have lots, for me this is a great idea though.

I think very few people will keep bitcoin for 3 years. In December 2017, when bitcoin reaches the peak, I am confident that 99% of the people who are holding the bitcoin will sell out so it is impossible to hold the bitcoin for 3 years.

Well, it's depend how strong your faith and how high bitcoin you have tho. I think different people has their own perception, their own economics ability, and it will be not many people to hold bitcoin till 3 years in my opinion.

It will be nice that everyone in the market had the same strong confidence that many holders have but you need to understand that our goals are different and that is why our behaviors are different as well, as a long term holder of bitcoin for the long term even if bitcoin were to reach my target goal I probably will not sell at all I will keep some just in case it goes even higher than that, but for a short term trader obtaining 1% to 2% per trade is good enough so losing money in a crash is not really an option for them.

Again, it is all because of matter of choice. We all are different and like you have said we all have different opinion about bitcoins. Some people prefer to go for long term investment because they find it best in their own capacity. While for others income must be coming regularly so they chose short term investment. These both are best chances for you to make money.

Agree. There is no definite quantity how many people can hold bitcoin for more than 3 years. But I believe that it is always increasing as many are interested in bitcoin nowadays. THrough the help of those who currently hold bitcoin that advertise the goodness of bitcoin, for sure the number of holders increases to up to 50- 75% every year.

With the fluctuations price happening now it will be hard for anyone to hold bitcoin for more than 3 years, I'm sure when the price goes up or down more than 50% it will make people sell bitcoin.

In my own opinion,why should I hold for more than 3 years when the price is already satisfy me

.I need money badly that is why I can't hold bitcoin that long.

That it hard to calculate cause in my opinion people are just selling their coins when the price is really high so i think only like 2 or 3 % of people which invested are still holding their coins.

I agree you require lot of patience if it was me i would be happy with 1000$ profit also but it has changed a lot now unfortunately just holding the coin doesn't really generate any profit i think altcoins are the future right now they can provide higher profits than bitcoin in long run but as people say bitcoin will surely and always remain the king

You are right, these people got big profits. but in my opinion, these people then believed in the bitcoin, and did not think that over time it would bring a lot of money. They advocated the idea, the money was probably not important

Exactly, and I'm sure that last December alone, there are a lot of huge bag holders who have decided to offload some of their stash because the price is really that high and probably most of them became millionaires by selling some of their bitcoins.

But to hold in for 3 years though is mentally tough, maybe others just put enough bitcoins for long term hold in their hard wallets and put it somewhere or hide it so and will just revisited their investment when bitcoin again hits all-time-high and take some profits once again.

We should tell them not to sell bitcoin at low price because the price and the demand of bitcoin is increasing now we should hold our bitcoin for long time and with the passage of time you will see the real growth of bitcoin at the end,. Now there are a lot of people who have bitcoin and they have planning to hold it until they become sure about it, for me best thing to do with bitcoin is holding with patience as if you will hold it you will get the high profit at the end same as them I will hold for more than 3 years and will sell out being millionaire.

but sometimes although even have other income, if we see bitcoin price and have a big profit seemed to want to immediately sell it. i think it is more to the psychological person, if psychologically good, so can strong to hold for a long time

When I entered in this field then at that time price of the bitcoin was about 300$ = 1btc .
Now here most of the guys who will see my post will think that I hold much amount of bitcoin and lot of bitcoin at cheap price .
But in actual at that time I was facing problem of money in my life , so I was just wondering every platform to make earnings and didn't understand well about bitcoin and also didn't understand that in the future we can make lots of earnings by just hold .
Well currently we are at very better range of price of bitcoin and it is much better for us that we can buy and start to hold for incoming year of 2-3 and make lot sir profit easily .

Not a lot of people. Everyone wants to make millions from bitcoin but there are not a lot of them who are willing to hold their coins more than a couple of months at best and they would sell for the slightest reason.
