I ordered 30 chips. So that's 3 modules. Kindly let me know what my options are, or if they can all be assembled into one 30 chip (or 3 module) mini unit. I am preparing 80 * 3 = 240 EURO. or if you will accept BTC equivalent by then.

Any idea in what price range order option 1 will be?
The stacking of modules: can I stack or take them apart myself, or is it something that has to be done in assembly?

Q:
Can I fly over to pick up boards and pay them on site ?

I’m also interested in this, but I’d drive instead of fly there.

To recap, sending you an order via email now is pointless because orders aren’t open yet, right? You may want to clarify that in the OP.

I think OP said that he will allow orders once he has all the info he needs and he knows exactly the price.

The 80Eur is already calculated estimate, but since there is a degree of uncertainty involved with not having the data on the Chips i can't commit to it yet.

I will be away over this weekend, so don't expect anything from me.

OP Updated with email address.

I'm excited about this project and have fingers crossed to receive these modules before my birthday at the end of July.

I'll do my very best!

Any idea how many layers the board may be?

I'm interesting in producing boards based on the design and selling finished miners into the US market.

Those who are PMing, what part of the OP do you not understand:

Ordering will be done NGZhang style - via Email.

I saw nowhere in the OP where burnin posted his email address....  And nobody else is posting their orders in this thread.  So please feel free to let me know how else I'm supposed to let burnin know that I'd like him to assemble the chips I ordered into his units?

Also :
Q: Can I order now to have a "good" place in the order cue?
A: No, you can't, ordering will start with announcement of the definitive price.

Reading comprehension , guys.

So, since the chip datasheet is not available at this point in time either, what makes you think that it will not be relased at the same time as the refference board design, and if so, how are you going to design&manufacture your boards faster than someone that is just going to implement the refference design.

Also I am not so sure that the device you will produce will be identical to avalon from CGminer's point of view. Have you had any discussions in relation to this with CGminer devs? Can they confirm that this is the case and there are not going to be any complications and extra time and effort needed for CGminer to accomodate the new "device". Also are they willing to put in the work in case that such effort is required.

I dont have anything against custom designs but don't you agree that the safest bet at this point is to just go with the refference design so people can have something in their hands, mining and then concentrate on improvements.

Awesome!
My understanding for 1 module price:

0.086BTC / chip * 10 = 0.86BTC
          +
tax and custom handling fees (~10%)
effective shipping cost from Switzerland
flat handling fee of $20 per order
(from Zefir's thread)
          +
Expect about 80 Eur assembly cost per module
          +
shipping cost

estimated 2.0-2.5BTC totally

Anybody know would there be custom fee into US as the finished module would be shipped from Germany? Thanks

I'm excited by all this, but I realized that between the 1st and 2nd order# from Zefir, there is already 200 other orders in between !

That makes 20 million ASIC chips mining Bitcoin in a close future.

Any speculation on difficulty / profitability ?

I do not think orders are sequential. 200 orders+ is an extreme amount. I really doubt.

Indeed,

$151,320,000 BTC equiv for 2000 orders of 10k chips (the minimum allowed). Seems unlikely.
