Yes, there are too many optimism in bitcoin price and most of people think bitcoin will rise more and more in the future, however, nothing can be so sure, bitcoin maybe drop in few days, they said that october 26 is the day decide bitcoin will live or not. So if you worry, you can exchange your money to etherium.

Yea, Is there a chance that corrective pullback will happen? Just like in stock market? Will elliot wave work after a bitcoin bubble?

There is no need to worry much about the future of bitcoin, even with the hard fork happening, those free coin given out to bitcoin owner will just stand as a new altcoin, most users will still prefer to buy and keep bitcoin as their main priority, so the values of bitcoin would be much more stable than the other altcoins.

I hope Bitcoin will be okay. But I guess anything can happen in the crypto world.
I certainly agree with you on that, that's why is important to diversify and not invest everything you have in cryptocurrencies because in the scenario where the market crashes which is currently unlikely you will have a buffer to lay on.

You don't worry about Bitcoin future as it will never disappoint you if you invest in BTC. This coin is at near life time high but still have huge potential in it due to its demand/supply mismatch and it is widening day by day because more and more new people want to invest in it due to its sharp rise.

Why would you worry about the future of bitcoin if you can see that it has a great progress and that progress is enough to say that there is nothing to worry about the progress of bitcoin and instead of worrying, just be positive and think all about the good progress that bitcoin has and the benefits that you might get in the future if you will still stick with bitcoin.
Different issues are there which are making the bitcoin future a little shady, but i think such issues can be overcome. I think the most important is that bitcoin should be legalize throughout the world. although some countries already turn bitcoin as legal currency and many more are still working on it, when bitcoin will become legalize it will become more secure. I am hopeful that bitcoin will become more secure in future and will be the main currency of the world.

I got your point and its true that in the future we might experience difficulties in doing bitcoin transaction because of the block chain that is limited but I think developers anticipate that and for sure they are studying things so they can offer solutions for these issues I'd like to believe that the reason behind those hard fork is to have a divert market for bitcoin while developers are searching for solutions, they offer other coins so that the market demand for bitcoin will not grow faster like we are experience currently.

No I don't worried about btc future.  cause I know this is the time for holding bitcoin then I can success in my life I see my future is bright if me/you hold bitcoin right now. we already passed bitcoin low prices. so no lose any more

We will gain more if we just hold and have the patience to reach our desired profit. However, it will be going to earn a lot if we become a good cryptocurrency trader. There is much opportunity with trading altcoins but this is not really for everyone though because others can't take the risk and the emotions when they trade.

I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
Oh come on we've always been optimistic. I've been around since 2015 when the price went totally down and everyone started losing hope in btc.
Guess how much was one bitcoin for at that time ?
It was for $270 !
I guess that's enough optimism for me really  Wink

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
This should be solved with time.

-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
What ? There's difference between the bitcoin "market" which is exchanges, trades etc. And mining power.
The "market" isn't centralized in China at all. For example, poloniex is US-based. Bitfinex is in Honk Kong and others.

Regarding the mining power, it's debatable. But I can for sure say that this is not nice as it's supposed to be not centralized. But guess what , the whole world lives off China. All of our food, clothes etc are made there. It's just because of their low price electricity that mining farms are setup there.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.
You were there when BCH split happened and you saw what happened after it to the price. You decide if these hard forks are actually of any danger or are worth getting called "attacks"

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.

You've been holding since 2014  Shocked Mate you totally aren't the one who should ask or make such threads as you made quite a lot out of it.
Switching to ETH ? No thank you. There's no much action over there. It's kinda constant.

Plus even if btc price goes down (which in my own opinion will happen after the BTG fork) what did you lose ? Nothing really nothing.
You've been through times when the price was much worse and you know what happens later, it skyrockets.

Later can range from days to months. It doesn't matter.

I see nothing to worry about the future of BTC because it unstoppable due to it's very useful and profitable uses. It is very popular today since many people interested to join and more investors trusted it for they believe that bitcoin is a good future investment. Even though it encountered hard fork but people not afraid to used it. Importantly, bitcoin does not need to win every battle to justify a sky high price. It still depend on the number of users of bitcoin.

Do tou see the positive trend recently? Have you see the price passed $6000?  When come to investment you need to be flexible,  if you think you can earn profit then keep it,  if one day bitcoin become worthless then you still got time to switch to other coin,  I cant preduct too far because  there are so many unpredictable things,  but I know this few years  bitcoin's value will keep on increasing

I don't think it's necessary to worry too much. Mainly depends on the number of people to use. Look at this point. None of the others can compare with BTC. So I think the future of BTC must be good
good point. Totally agree with you Smiley are you investing your money?

Bitcoin still consider as risky investation so let say if you keep 1 btc for next 4 years !
There are 2 probility , become a millionaire or bitcoin vanish before 4 year.

So if you're in profit at the moment, just sell partially for some profit !

The optimism from the recent price surge is understandable. I think you worry your self unnecessarily, what will be will be, nothing is forever, Its just not possible, there may be a time when bitcoin isn't relevant anymore. Go with the flow OP, and enjoy the ride.
It may happen but it is not going to happen anytime soon, bitcoin is going to be around for a very long time if you look at the history of currencies once a currency becomes dominant a lot of time passes before another currency comes and replace it, if bitcoin becomes big enough to be adopted globally I would say that bitcoin could last at least 100 years.

The future does look good for bitcoin but also anything can happen, I would definitely suggest investing some into a few other coins to diversify and make sure that you have the best chance of making some return, putting all your eggs into the one basket could prove troublesome.

What I'm worried about is that when the world goes to war or the economy becomes chaotic it is likely that bitcoin is not desirable or declining because people are more likely to withdraw their money

I do not think with worries about my btc because I am also a bitcoin holder for 3 years so I am making a lot of profit from bitcoin, so if you are not sure with your heart you can sell all bitcoin and you no longer profit from bitcoin. , bitcoin I think it's very strong for the future because we know most countries have many bitcoin holders and the growing popularity of bitcoin will be the future of bitcoin technology that is getting stronger and the future going forward will be softer in the future. .

There isn't much to worry about at the moment as the demand is high!
No other crypto currency is getting anywhere near bitcoin.
I would say it will be safe for at least another 5 years.

We know the trend of bitcoin from its existence it almost zero value but lookout now its on the peak. Pump and dump is very common to bitcoin and we have experiencing that anytime. 5years or more is gonna safe play with bitcoin, believing that btc now are on the road for greatness and become stonger after all.
This time that I fear is not the possibility of bitcoin price in the future because of course it will be guaranteed with users who will keep coming and make the demand to go up. which I'm afraid of now is transaction fee and transaction speed. imagine the higher the bitcoin price the more expensive the transaction fee in bitcoin. I'm just afraid the user does not make a transaction anymore because of the high fee?

I don't understand why you are afraid. The higher the price of bitcoin the higher the price of the transaction, it is but a percentage fee per transaction is reduced or remains at the same level. When it comes to big amounts, the fee is not large. The problem is only in small transactions. It does not develop trade. Perhaps segwit 2 will solve this problem?
