Buying in at $15usd. Watching btc fall to $10. Cut my losses and sold at $8. Watching the fall to $2 and not buying and holding. Watching the coin eventually go passed my initial buy in point of $15usd. I lost quite a bit in that little escapade.

Many moons later......

Seeing btc hit $40. Telling all my family and friends to BUY NOW and hold. Watch what happens. Not taking my own advice. Watching the btc SKYROCKET to $950. And me without a coin Sad

Two huge mistakes. I missed yet another millionaire bubble.

That is tough; I guess you didn't have any cash at the time not to buy any @40$ because you felt strongly about it to tell your family and friends to BUY NOW!!

Did you end up buying at 950$? And hold?
Ouffff, that'd be rough. However it can still rise, but being at 400 now that's gotta sting.

Back in 2009 when bitcoin was still being mined with cpu's I had trouble getting a miner set up so I threw in the towel.

Worst decision in bitcoin?

Buying at $800  Shocked  buying antminers, then watching price drop to $438 just 2 weeks later and antminers dropping in price as well.

$$$$ lost to deflation and GOX but now is the time to make a comeback  Cool

tough break; keep the bitcoins you have and buy some every now and them and hold them on a secured computer on bitcoin-qt or cold storage

sell your antminers on ebay while they are still worth something

I'm buying Bitcoin now, so I won't have to go back to this thread in a few months to say I did not buy in March's <500$ dip Cheesy

500$ seems like a good price in a long term perspective even if we go down some more; that is why a lot of people are buying now, as much as people are selling Wink

I am sending some money to an exchange to buy a little bit myself, for my retirement Grin

Make use of a vanity address generated on a hacked vanigygen site.
But worst decision must be the fact I didn't take Bitcoin serious earlier in my life.

We are all saying we should have buy x$ of btc a few years back but do we do it now? It is easier to buy a large amount of btc now both technically bc there are a lot of exchanges and localbitcoins and in terms of risks : it is less risky so we are hypocrite, maybe we didn't believe enough in Bitcoin when we first heard about it bc we didn't know what it was

Listening to bitcointalk without knowing shit about the stock market or money in general and thinking itd get me somewhere.

Most people who trade bitcoins would have made more money just buying, sending the btc to a paper address and forget about it
