Hi, all. I know that everyone here would have made some terrible decision about BTC. So I was wondering, what is the worst decision that you have ever made.

Personally, my worst decision was gambling 1.3 BTC in dice, just yesterday. Smiley

You either make $1000 or loose $1000.   Sounds like you lost.

Sorry about your gambling decision, dude. Undecided

I don`t want to risk my bitcoins so i don`t gamble.

My worst decision was last year, when i sold all my bitcoins for 400$,instead of holding them.

I'm sure many people have the worst decision on gambling too and me too. I lose around 2-3 bitcoins on gambling and it's really worst and affect my life so bad on that day.

My worst decision probably is losing all my earnings in gambling. Because all I have to do is click the withdraw button then I am out but my greediness kicks in and decided to to double my earnings. I was left empty-handed.
this is why some elder in my region say that gambling will not make you rich it's only make you even more poorer,if you win then it mean you're going to lose what you win next time because you just can't get away from it after feeling the pleasure of winning

It is really about a matter of controlling yourself. Gambling will be bad if it always take your money. But if you are in control you can actually win and gain some. Don't take greediness take over and always learn to say enough is enough.

Worst decision for me was to put all my money in altcoins which have peak values and loss atleast 40% of my total investment within 7 days. As i was new to cryptotrading that time and was just trying to earn reliable return but this loss made me frustrated and leave the idea. However these days i know how to do safe trading. Learned lesson from that lost.

My worst decision is, I once bought something in a sites that clearly looks disrepair and untrustworthy. I didn't do so much research on the site, then after I pay my Bitcoin the site still does not deliver the thing that I bought.

Wow.. 1.3 BTC? That hurts a lot dude.. That is a huge money but you dont have control over it so it is not actually a decision I think. haha. As for me, I think that worst decision about btc is buying it at a very high price then sell it at a much lower price just to cut the unrealized losses. If someone really needs money then its understandable but if they just sold it because they are afraid that its price will continue to go down then it is the worst decision they can make.

I also went on a spending spree, when the price reached $800+ a few years ago. I bought gifts for friends and all the stuff we needed in the house. I should have spend less and kept some more, because the price rocketed past $1000 soon after that.

I still have some of the items I have bought back then and we had a good shopping spree, but I could have had a lot more bitcoin now. ^hmmmm^

So far, the worst thing I've done was to buy altcoins at their peak prices just to see them plummet day by day. It sucks that I didn't do a lot of reading and research before buying that is why I wasn't able to anticipate what is going to happen. I'll just charge it to experience since it is not something that's really big and I would just keep learning new things to avoid any more of those mistakes.

I only lost my BTC to two things - gambling and HYIP sites.

In gambling, I used to go YOLO whenever I get angry. I feel like the whole thing is against me so I keep losing. And then I get the feeling of being lucky for a round and then I bet a lot of coins while in my mind if I win that round, I'll recover all the losses that I had. Unfortunately, in most cases, I don't win that round.

When I was still a newbie, I used to invest in HYIP sites and bitcoin doublers. You all know the drill, we thought that those sites are legit since they are paying at first. But sadly, they are just ponzi sites and would runaway eventually.

Wait, so did you lose all of your bitcoin that you gambled?  That's quite a bit.

My worst decision was dabbling in the loan market earlier this year,  got burned for 0.3 btc.  Learned my lesson there that collateral is key and people here are not to be trusted.
