My bad experience was with cryptopia where I lost a good amount when they got hacked. After they were hacked they do not allowed us to withdraw our coins and after that they closed their service and still they are saying that the case is ongoing in the court and after the end of the case they will decide for the users funds.

Yobit.net or Yobit.io

-Shady ICO
-Shady volume
-Shady wallet maintenance
-Selective scamming (Locking user funds)
-Shady YoFarm and Investbox
-Never answers customer support stuff
-High withdrawal fees

Surprising that they are still running nowadays which
there are still people who do trust up this site?

I haven't gotten into trouble with any exchange lately but i have experience bad service delivery from some exchanges.

Ranging from bad customer care, fraud, low responses time and lack of friendly interface etc.

There are some exchanges once a project list on it, i automatically tag the project as failed for me. Because the exchange will just make the project looks frustrating and worthless eg. vindax and coinsbit

I have totally stayed away from the 2 exchanges for good and i explore better exchanges.

The only thing I don't like are high fees for withdrawing
To solve this problem you can use FTX exchange, There is no charge to withdraw Bitcoin. But for this, you need to hold some FTT coins there. You can get more details here: https://help.ftx.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034865571-Blockchain-Deposits-and-Withdrawals (check photo)

I trade binance and kucoin. Till now no problem I have faced. I have also traded latoken. Someone said me that latoken sometimes do fraud. But didn't face any fraudulent. But saw newspaper some fraudulent about some exchange. You have to choose prominent exchange so that few chance to fall in problem.

I never had any problems with any exchange... probably just luck but I never had funds in any exchange that was hacked, I never lost funds or had any issues with any crypto exchange in 6+ years I trade.
The only thing I don't like are high fees for withdrawing, but now with the Binance chain that is almost solved, it's not so expensive to move funds as before, of course, if it's possible to use BEP!

If you can withdraw those remaining funds, just do it and leave them forever.

Such funds that you still have should be taken if you still have access to your account. You only need to do a withdrawal request and if you're about to withdraw.

Choose the crypto that doesn't have that much in fees.
There is no way to get back those dollars. Because I have no access to my yobit exchange. The support team is not helping me to get back my account. They are unprofessional at all. I have a good amount of Waves coin there, But the support team is shit.

I don't know, Why still people using Yobit exchange.!!
In this forum, a ton of Complaints are available for this exchange.

As you know many exchanges come after a day and most of them launched for making money and some of them don't care there users, I have suffered the loss in Cryptopia Exchange that is hacked and shut down, and some exchanges running are worst exchanges I lost my deposit due to low threshold in P2PB2B exchange, Hotbit, Latoken, P2PB2B are worst exchanges.

There's one experience that I'll never forget when it comes to trading. I created an account on this exchange (can't remember the name) thinking their order books was legit. I deposited a fairly good amount because I badly needed to convert my tokens and immediately found out the reality that I was fooled Grin Needless to say, they took my tokens and never received any response from them. This happened back in 2017.

I don't even think that I had faced the bad exchange for it, but I want to say another thing that I had faced some other problems with the some exchanges like coinsbit because once I try to sell some coins their but failed to sell and I was trying again and again but till now the selling is not completed yet, BTW MEXC is a great one.

Yobit, This is the shit exchange ever I have used. Just forget my password and username. So I tried to contact at there support, But they did not provide my details because they think it's not me(real user). But I have emailed them with my personal Email address(that I have used to create an account)
Still, I have some funds there, But cant able log in.
No keys, no coin.
If they want, I can get access to my account but they did not want it.

Forgetting your password and username is easy, why not just reset it using your email that you've used on your account in Yobit, no need to contact their support on such matter unless your also forgot what email did you use on that. Nonetheless, my only issue about Yobit is that they have a very bad reputation because of scams, and their platform is always lagging for some reason, that's why I don't use their platform anymore.

I don't know if anyone here know CCEX.com but it's the first exchange I use when I'm new to Bitcoin. I experience lots of bad memories on that exchange including my account got hack even though I have a email verification to access my account and I don't use my exchange account frequently so there's no way I will fall on phishing link that time. On top of that since they are the famous exchange on my time, I'm force to create again since that's the only place I can trade then they suddenly close without further notice.

I usually leave my money on exchange that so that's the very important lesson I learned on that hella exchange.

Latoken is worst exchange for me. Most of the coin have almost zero buyong and selling. We cannot find best trading price due to low volume.
They Adding daily new Tokens but not working to approve top coins trading volume. Some coins are not tradeable for my country.

I didn't trade on the exchange site but I hold a certain coin for good and after I go back on the exchange site after a few months I see that it is not currently offered on the site and there's no way to see my coin they say that it was removed for a few months and was asked users to withdraw their coins but I failed to withdraw it and it was kind of confiscated or something. Well I learned that if you are going to hold a certain coin, hold it on your personal wallet and not on exchange.

.....waiting one month now for Bittrex "expert" to inspect my national ID card and finish my kyc LoL
despite the fact that before my passport expired my kyc verification was ok

Bittrex worst exchange experience so far for me

Well that is not the worst that I encounter so far, there are too many exchanges that have the worst services just like delays of withdrawing the fund and lack of support. Others are scamming people through the reason of not following the TOS but the fact is that is a kind of a trap that you don't know, after a deposit, they will ask KYC that it is hard for you to pass because it required only a single ID like passport or driver license which is if you are a student it is hard on your part.

They are the worst by far,

first of all my account was verified for years with them with my passport so is not that I did not have kyc before,
at the moment I don't plan to renew my passport and they don't accept my country's driving license (even though I come from EU country)
as soon as my passport expired they ask again kyc with my ID (only option for me now and still the same guy like my expired passport I kyc before)

after trying to scan my id through their automated system that kept failing  I send to them many support tickets, every time explaining the situation and then every time giving me same reply through their support as if they never read any of my previous tickets...

7 or 8 tickets later this time I attach all my previous tickets in one message to make them understand the situation,
I then get a reply asking me to post a pictures of me holding the id and a paper with todays date,, I do that too

then the message I get is our expert will review it and we let you know

that was a month ago....

kyc should not be that complicated and I have done kyc with most platforms that I use for many years
also customer service would be good to read what your issue is not just send to you automated replies

so until their expert figures this out I do my trades on other platforms

only thing I still have funds there that I cannot trade,

moral of this story

AVOID BITTREX !!!

Some people might find Coinbase a bad place for trading, as their servers crashed down several times during major price changes. This is probably the worst experience a trader might have, when every minute lost means huge losses. Also I remember a case when XRP doubled its price, followed by a drop. Binance servers were overloaded because of that and crashed. Many users did not manage to login and cancel they buy orders.

My worst experience was with XT.com due to their location and my internet. For me their page load for ages, lags and it a real pain to sell bounty rewarded tokens. All these balance switching from spot to trading, adding all trade password and etc was a real problem for me.

I've never used Yobit since, and I don't want to. But I still have some dollars left on that exchange, it would be very helpful if I could get it back. But there seems to be no way to get back those dollars. I demotivate all my friends so that they do not use this exchange. There are tons of trustworthy exchanges available.

Did you know they used to have a non-provably fair dice game a few years back? You could actually gamble on an exchange lol.

Something similar happened to me, I had an account there and then my email provider announced that it was going to disappear so I asked the support if I could change my email as I will soon lose access to it, their response? It was not possible, then I asked why it was the case? After all changing your email is something that you can do in almost any website, they refused to answer and recommended me to just open another account, something that I refused to do, after all if they cannot do that can you imagine the problems I would have to go through if I had an actual issue?
