my problem with hitbtc is their withdrawal fee, but I never faced a problem my withdrawals are getting hold.

I think they have to be the worst exchange I have used in my books, one time I ended up paying way more than any other exchange would charge for withdrawing an altcoin I think it was close to $100, it was an erc20 altcoins l and they just listed newly in the exchange and I was trying to take advantage;f the price difference on both exchange I was losing. I regret that transaction until today and not surprised when I see write up of how awful this exchange is.

Sometimes I wonder why they still have patronage, I remember seeing they have one of the worst withdrawal fees for Bitcoin transaction way back. Exchanges that are considered scammy don't even have such withdrawal fees. Also their customers service aren't as reliable as the top exchanges. Hitbtc overall is just a poor exchange as they get poor rating from all angles.

I have my bad experience with DEX before where fees are being wasted because of the error on the transactions and so far this is my worst experience though I don’t have one on CEX since I only choose the best exchange for this and I believe that they are too perfect for me not to learn how to access their site.
We all have our worst experience in some exchange and it's always annoying or irritating especially you are trading then the exchange is either scam or shady in which there's a sudden decision from their dev to hold all of your asset on their exchange yet this is their unique style of doing an exit to scam all of their traders and investors. But when Binance is introduced to me, at first I was so hesitant to trust them since I don't know them that time but so far when I tried to use it I kinda like it and been using it for a year. But now, since they required their customers to pass the KYC I just stopped using it since I don't like the idea passing some KYC which they should follow or they close.

I usually go registering new exchanges only when they are having support through bitcointalk or it needs to be recommended by my friends or colleagues.

Usually I do not believe into any recommendation made through social media especially telegram. Always listening to the trusted community will help for sure.
You sound like that you are an experiences with all crypto works. I have learned this kind of procedures while availing any new services but practically I am not following them but it is really nice you are sharing your experience like you're already into such practices. I believe it would be a better practice when we are taking precautionary steps before facing any big problems with our hard earned money.

Simply, avoiding new and lesser known exchanges will be a good practice to avoid all the problems related to exchanges.

People's answer are varies means they have a bad luck on several exchanges but others are not, so it's depends on the luck and the condition at the problem's time.
I am not seeing any luck factor is playing a role on avoiding problems with exchanges here. When you are careful and you are choosing our exchange of the lots of due diligence and recommendation then you can easily avoid problems. I usually go registering new exchanges only when they are having support through bitcointalk or it needs to be recommended by my friends or colleagues.

Worst? Oh man I can give you shittiest exchanger. What if I tell you that I have 25 million token from ICO sale and that are stuck on the exchanger which is operational yet it’s not giving me my money? Though the tokens are not worth million dollars (consider its flop project) then also I’m not able to withdraw the tokens. I mean even if I want to withdraw the garbage then also I’m not able to do it from that exchanger and that is what makes it the shittiest exchanger of all.

The name is TowerX exchanger. A company running it is SAAS based and fully operational with loads of money yet it’s behaving like sucker punch. You guys can still check it out and see how peeps have left over millions of dollars just lying around with zero trading volume.

Imagine how frustrating that might be.

YoBit and latoken will be the worst one without any doubt. I had the worst experience on YoBit for overall thing. BTW, latoken will be on top for worst exchange if it's about withdrawal fees and liquidation. Most of the altcoin pairs are having fake/bot trading on latoken and withdrawal fee was so high. I don't know about the current situation of withdrawal fees as i stopped using latoken back in 2019 or starting of 2020. After that, i start avoiding latoken for any tokens.

So far i don't have bad experience when it comes using exchanges such latoken and binance, by the way these is actually my first two platform ever since before , wherein i just jump in to binance because of the features that latoken don't have even though you don't need kyc to use latoken full features. But yeah so far no problem and passing kyc in binance is worth it and no regrets. Cheesy
Latoken does not require KYC? I need to note down that as I am in hunt of such KYC-free exchanges and so far I am able to find only 2 recommendations like kucoin and latoken.

I guess because you are dealing with known exchanges is the reason that you are not facing any problem with them; usually people are going for new exchanges just for the reason of selling their bounty rewards but when they are dealing with new exchanges sometimes they are facing problems but for the people who are not doing with bounty programs or airdrops, I guess there will be no need of going for new exchanges.

Hitbtc.... This exchange is totally shit and i didn't use it since two or three years. cause it asked for more than $20 fee when others exchange only ask for $2/3 only. Even sometime it asked $40-50 fee if you want to withdraw any altcoins (this incident is happened two three years ago) Even it has bot trading, kyc not mandatory but they temporary blocking accounts randomly and asking for kyc even for small funds too. Even i got email, someone login my accounts! Same was happened with my friends too. Don’t like it actually, worst experience ever
There it goes. I browsed the first page and didn't see this name. Their previous supporters even branded them $hitBtc as they were really shitty in many ways. An example is a way you will deposit with them and this is based on my own experience.
They will take a part of the deposited cryptocurrency while you haven't even traded anything yet. That means you are losing a part of your money and then you are going to lose more with trading taxes and then another if you want out or withdrawal as we call it.
Note: What they took will never be sent back to you. It's their property and it's not like a security thing that will be given back afterward.

At the beginning of crypto journey I had invested in a few ICOs. We know most of them were just worst. To sell coins I had used Yobit, Hitbtc, Livecoin and one more that I just forgot the name. I didn't trade there actually. I just sold my holdings and out from there. I just feel uneasy with them, and not ready to complie with them as well. The main issue is there are not enough liquidity which had been lead me sell coin in lower price and get out. Withdrawal conditions few exchange just terrible, there is minimum amount you can't Withdraw below that. So over all experience not good at all although I just forgot about them and don’t intend to use them anymore.

P2pb2b , vindax, finexbox and latoken very low quality exchanges because here most of the projects price gradually decreased after projects listing. Above exchanges performance very slow and poor.

I do not have a problem with any exchange until now and I hope I will not face that in the future. Maybe some exchanges do not respond quickly to their members if they have a problem so we can say that exchanges are bad, while to the other members, their response is normal. Besides that, I do not have an account in the exchanges that do not have reputations because that will make me feel too worried to keep my balance on that exchange. I prefer to stay at the recommended exchange to trade to prevent scamming and hacking.

I have been involved with cryptocurrency for the last 3 years and have been acquainted with various exchanges. There are a number of exchanges that are known to be more prone to losses rather than profits. I have a lot of bad experiences from all these exchanges.

There are lots of exchanges available in this crypto platform. Binance kucoin coinbase houbi and so many good exchange Where people keep trading daily. But apart from that, sometimes we need to use unknown exchange for trading. Some may good and some may bad. And thats what I'm looking for! Your selected worst exchange, may best for others but it doesn’t matter. Share the name of exchange which gave you worst trading experience, scam your fund or sometime else. Share, so that others can alert from it.

My first encounter with an exchange hacking incident was in 2016. The exchange involved is Bitfinex. If I remember it right, after they came back from the business, they did some swaps on the hold balance of those who got affected including me. My bitcoin was shifted into their own coin. If only they didn't do that, the hold BTC on that exchange should be more valuable. That was far as I remember.

The next one is Cryptopia on which until today, the supposed recovery is still in process on which I'm not sure if it's really taking place.

I will share mine too, i have a bad experience with p2pb2b because of deposit problem and when i faced the problem the supports are not good enough for handling the problem so i feel hopeless to solve it and just left it there.

Since the beginning, I traded to almost any "known" exchange and all of them had their issues from time to time. I won't mention the ones that closed or hacked or scam, which is for me, by far, the worst that can happen. Cry
So based on the trading experience and not based on the fees of withdrawing (which is big to almost all the exchanges), my worst was in HitBTC. Very slow connection, hard to put an order (in means of time to be confirmed), and you couldn't use your whole coin/ token amount (except BTC). I stop using it a long time now and to be honest, I didn't bother to even log in and take a look.

So far the only CEXs that gave me headache before is Hitbtc and Coinsbit, Hitbtc happens to be the only one trading a token I have and I try to exchange it but then I realized I should hold it and decided to withdraw again but to my surprise withdrawal fee amount is much bigger than the amount I have, I ended up trading to other token and withdraw immediately. Coinsbit on the other hand has a very slow UI, It can take a minute until you can create an offer lol.

I personally also experienced it, where to carry out activities again I was asked to do KYC, but after I did KYC, it took a long time to verify, until now it has not been approved, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing it. but to ask for some of the funds, I personally don't know it, but to make a withdrawal there is a high fee

For me

No 1 worst would be CITEX and their wallets under maintenance for months with robot replies when I try to contact them

close No2 the kyc verification of Bittrex, after 10 emails and photos of me holding ID documents
sill waiting for an expert to figure it out...even though I had done kyc before for years with my passport that expired

and with funds deposited that I am not able to use

by far worst customer service there
