Actually, I got discouraged when I came across lots of ICOs that are scam when I joined the cryptocurrency industry as a bounty hunter. Earth token was no exception.
First of all i stop working as a bounty hunters after i meet that lot of ico's that i've been joined has getting scammed after their token sale so im willing to find and search about ico projects before i gonna join.
While I joined the bitcointalk forum, I found a lot of bad ICO. even then, I learned ICO badly after the end of the ICO period. Hopefully in the future there will be no bad ICOs that have emerged.

As a bounty hunter participants for me the worst ICO ever was and is EARTH TOKEN.
They changed the bounty manager at the last week of the campaign and let the participants hanging.

The worst project is a project that does not pay. We spend time and these projects stop paying us. Such a project in my opinion the worst. And these are now 99% of the market. And we have big problems.
Too many worst ICOs I've ever participated in, more than $ 800 of my money has been hit by a scam, be careful to put money on the ICO so we don't get scam again.
I also participated in a number of bad ICOs but my losses were not as big as your losses.because I invest on a small scale because I really understand the risks involved in investing in the ICO so I don't invest on a large scale in the near future.
There are so many worst ICO in the past and even at present time, the ICO market have been down in recent time with so many teams running away with investors money or ICO failing to raise enough found in the ICO period there by leading to the project getting stall on the way.
based on my judgment most bad ico are ico who don't work their jobs based on white paper after their hard cap target is reached. there were even a number of ico whom I thought they had fled after their fundraisers were completed for various reasons. I don't want to mention the name or project their ico but they are a group of fraudsters.
Ico worst ever is when I invested thousands of dollars but suddenly that ICO are scam because they not listed to the real excahnges site and yes they listing it to other but the value is more than lower 50 times than the value of the token when I purchased it during the ICO.

Profish was the worst and scam ICO I have ever seen. They came up with exchange listing to jave trust from people. Mercatox have helped them here. This was a scam but with a different way.
A terrible ICO for me is the ICO that does not even realize the small steps in their roadmap
The worst ICO I know of HDAC and Envion. when ico started many people were interested and the project was very popular. but after the ICO after many problems occurred. The most terrible ISO is that only developers are aware of. There is no benefit from this ISO for the rest. There are probably many)))))

I see one launch. Scam The problem is that you can talk to the community. You run ICO. Who are you at all? Maybe I have to start my project. I see it being made too easily.
ICOs are terrible overall. The only "successful" ICOs are the ones where devs sell their coins for 100s of BTC and a few holders manage to sell above ICO price as well.
Well, many ICOs surely fail, but then, it is still too harsh to say that it is, in general, terrible. Although the rate of failure of ICOs are high these days are surely high, and it is truly easy to lose its trust in it whether as an investor or a campaigner, but if you still believe in the cryptocurrency market, you can still keep the faith and make it work with the ICO market, but the difference compared before is the fact that one should really be meticulous and critical with choosing the better one that would, at least, have a better chance of success. So, it is a reality now that failures are the norm, and as people who join, it is our task to be scrutinize the projects we join to make sure it has even a fighting chance.
