There are a lot of icos that qualify to be the worst ico ever in my opinion one of them is shivom another one is syncfab and a lot of other projects like that most of which have 0.01x or less in present value compared to ico price this is very bad and it has shown that a lot of projects on the crypto market would not be successful.

It is difficult to chose the worst one because I participated in many bad ICOs.  Grin But maybe I am only skeptical about the future of these ICOs, now I do not see any progress, but maybe they need more time?

It is really hard to point out the worst ICO since most of ICOs are actually bad, and only a few of them are well planned and well developed. It is easier to say which ICO is the best last year or last two years.
And for your ICO, as long as you have a solid idea of your project, and you can find a professional team, you don't need to worry about your ICO.

I would add on the list Quasa coin. (QUA) - quasa.io

They will finish the ICO only when hardcap (over 15k ETH) is reached. They have currently only 3% from hard cap, but the percentage did not change since more than 6 months.
People remained with their money blocked on a worthless (at least for now) coin for an undetermined time.

Hey guys,

I am just really wondering what are the worst ICOs you have seen?

Also what defines a terrible ICO for you?

p.s im planning to launch one, so really curious on your opinion Smiley

All Ico that run away with investors money after getting funded is considered the worst ICO and we have a very long list of scam ICO if you are planning to launch one, better not do it now, the market is not good and so many investors have stopped investing in ICO some ICO are just faking their volume to attract investors.

I am not sure what you meant by worst ICO.

In my opinion there are some scam ICOs which collected in millions are the worst ICO ever because people invested their money for nothing.
I think for now people will be more cautious in investing their money. should the failure in investments it could make their lessons at once experience not to fall into the same error.

Elisia ,athero etc I can keep mentioning all day ,99% of ICO are liars ,deceivers that has nothing to offer other then taking it all from investors, all that remains now is just luck ,I still hope something can be done about this
Are you sure if Athero is a scam? Athero are currently is have listed on several exchanges. I looked on their telegram channel if the current problem is about distribution, maybe this is because the Athero team is on vacation and there is still no update.
Athero were able to raised a good amount of money during ICO, hence we can call their ICO successful.
I joined in their telegram channel and it seems like the team is still busy, most of the concerns are coming from the bounty group because they weren't paid yet.
so far I see Athero still a good project because yes, as you said they can raise money during the ICO. indeed, the problem at present it is the bounty hunters are still worried because they have not received payment.

I have been monitoring and supporting ICO developments for a long time, and the worst is when the ICO is a scam. well, however it is inevitable, and I think it is very bad, especially when they ask for more work, and a considerable amount of time.
yes it is true that ico scam cannot be avoided a step faster than us even when we follow a good project not necessarily it works and is more painful when joining the beginning to the end does not get any prizes.

Worst ICO ever when the project gather funds and can't make it successful because of lack of hardwork. ICO become also worst because of the community by dumping it after the Market List. Also scam ICO is the worstest of all!

the fate of ico is only determined by the project developers themselves, many ico are successful but the developer is not able to boost prices when entering the market, developers always wash their hands and let prices plummet without control
yes, it needs to be considered again for ico developers to be able to redevelop their projects or tokens when they are already in the market, not only when they enter and then there are no more price movements.

Think twice if your launching an ICO that added in the trash coins on the market. Create a useful platform with use case in that way, your project wouldn't be called as one of the worst project.  I guess the criteria for a terrible ICO is those ICO that only wants to raise money out of it but never focus on the product hence more on shilling the token for trading.

The terrible ICO for me is that they are non-permanent. Constant changes to the rules that are written in the roadmap. KYC will do, then the platform will change.

Worst ICO is, all the same, they generated money then run away with investors money and left bounty hunters with nothing, unfortunately I got to two of these kinds of project this year Konios and Resto Token both certified scam, what a way to start your year.

A terrible ICO for me is the ICO that fails to manage collecting the minimum of funds and If they do then It's the one that fails to deliver the project they promised at time , If I had to give an example about a bad ICO then I will go with SpectreProject where they even launched a signature campaign for three weeks but that didn't do much , now If we speak about the successful ones then both ICONOMI and ChronoBank are (even though ChronoBank didn't finish yet)
I have the same situation as you. especially Neluns. Many people denounce it as a scam. worse is that bounty hunters have to put in 0.6ETH to receive tokens when participating in their bonus campaigns.

There are lots of bad ico but don't need to mention one by one, it's better we look for clear and profitable ico, besides a lot of bad ico there are still good ico and we have to be able to find the good ico which in the future can give you profit
