The whole issue comes down to greed my friend! When people win a bit, they start to think they are invincible, they LET math catch up with them. You need to be able to stop when you win some, if you cannot do this with smaller wins, you sure as hell cannot do it when you win big! Don't always look for the life changing win, it may cause you to lose everything you ever had. Even if i go to a real casino, i set myself a limit, stop loss if you will, once i lose that amount i walk out, otoh, i set myself a stop-win too, when i win so much i leave, irrespective of if i am having amazing luck or not!
There is no sense in fighting to try and win back what you lost and you live to fight another day. Of course, gambling for me is just recreational, i treat it like a night out at the movies or a party, where i would spend the said amount anyways.. so i don't take too much tension if i lose, coz it would have gone anyway!
Well I hope your lesson could open the mind of young gamblers here, what they should do and dont in gambling, so it wont be a mistake again for them to lose their bitcoin. I believe that they who thinking get into gambling as a mistake, still doing that.
It dosent matters ,sometimes people fter losing 70% of their balance get out with 10x their deposit ...
its just how you do it and plus maybe maybe LUCK ...
On PD many users won 100's of coins in one session ?what do u say on that ?
You missed the point of the whole discussion. Let me spell it out for you, citing an example from PD itself! How many people on PD have lost more in the greed of trying to win a bunch when they were up already? I am sure you do not have any stats with you. Sure, there are the odd lucky folks who win huge, tip huge and then stop! The key here is that they STOP. Sometimes when they lose 70% of their BR, they know that they are screwed already and say, "ftw, lets go all in in the hope of winning it all back", some of them hit it, most don't. Again, more often than not, you will see these big players lose, it is just not publicized the way big winners are publicized. Big winners become the blue-eyed boys because they are an important marketing tool for the casino, where lesser mortals and greedy whales get impressed and feel they can hit it too. I go so far as to say that some casinos employ their own staff and remove house edges for them so that they can show huge wins and entice other gamblers to part with their money. Tell-tale signs are when the gambler suddenly appears out of the blue, wins a huge bunch, does not chat and then you never see the guy again!
