Once i just transfered bitcoins to an wrong address .
As it was little amount so not feeling much.
I must be careful from next time.

This is the mistake that everyone has done at the initial stage, but my mistake was that I didn't invest my money into the bitcoins at the right time, I invested when the prices were relatively high, I should have waited for prices to go down and then invest.

No worries. Bitcoin price will rise up continously for the upcoming weeks , months and years. Think positive because there's a reason to think that. Smiley

The worst investment ever was to buy into cloud mining on CEX. I bought in at 0.012 / GHS and when i sold, i had to sell them for 0.004 / GHS. The earnings from cloud mining on CEX were terrible as the fees was through the roof at all times. They suddenly stopped mining altogether and thats why i saw no future and sold what i had left at the time. This was my biggest mistake. I am still at $536 in the hole and it burns my ass every time i think of it!  Angry

i had also invested a small amount in cex ghs and luckily managed to get out quickly after seeing the rewards nearly vanished due to the fees they handle. sorry to hear man. most people were expecting good things from the cloud contracts.

Yeah well, i kept hoping and hoping that it would turn profitable, but no such luck. I ended up a bag holder of GHS because i didn't know when to get out. Since then, my investments have all borne fruit because i set a stop loss now and yes, i have not gone back to cloud mining ever again! Lesson learnt!  Smiley

Move On !!!!!!

My mistake is getting into bitcoins in the first place.
Over the past couple of years I've invested and built a small mining farm. Overall I made some profit, just a few hundred dollars.
But to think about all the time and effort I spent doing all of that just for a few hundred dollars... It's almost a waste of time!

You are not the only one that got burned by investing into mining. By the nature of Bitcoin mining, investing into it is a highly risky and I don't know why are people still doing it. You are almost guaranteed to lose money except if you don't live in the place where electricity is very, very cheap.

I am sorry for your loss, but I never understood people that were getting into Bitcoin mining.

If you feel that your mistake was getting into bitcoins in the first place, then why are you still here ?
I think that you shouldn't look at it only profit wise. Sure, you made a financial error, but that doesn't mean your next move is going to be bad one as well.
I suggest you re-asses your moves, and don't give up on bitcoin as a whole, judging by a single error you made.

cheers

Bitcoin isn't here to make you rich, it'shere to make you more independant from fraudelent governments and organizations as banks....

Sending to the wrong address, around 1.1 BTC.

I think I had the private keys for the address, but I still can't find them

Sending to the wrong bitcoin address. Luckily, it wasn't a too big amount, I think it was 0.02.

i once had a sportsbook address copied to my clipboard when i sent a transaction to it and then i wanted to send 0.2 bitcoin to my friend, though somehow his address did not get copied and i sent it to that sportsbook address which was available only for one deposit...

Be careful next time, and this mistake is bound to happen when you are new to bitcoins, but as time passes and you become more experienced it won't be repeated, and that is a common mistake that every one does at a initial stage. Check and recheck before you transfer bitcoins.

That is the mistake that everyone does at the primary stage, or when you are transfering it for the first time, Even I did the same mistake but as you said my amount was also less, so it doesn't made any difference to me, but I learned and now I check twice before transferring it.

My worst mistake in bitcoin was not buying in when the price was $70 and waiting until it was $300 but I have made back my investment and still have some to play with. Never been scammed within bitcoin yet and hopefully that stays that way.

The universal mistake of all people involved with Bitcoin is not starting early enough. Imagine being the first to discover the new technology, and mine it with the most mediocre mining power because the difficulty of the blocks were so low. As far as investing in altcoins. Some were successes. Dogecoin was something I never thought would lift off the ground and somehow made a name for itself. Perhaps not investing in that was also a mistake.

Indeed mate , I couldn't disagree on this one .
If I heard of Bitcoin earlier I would've join for sure but the shit thing is I heard of it until January 2014 and started using it on late 2014 so I was already too late for the train but I guess I still can catch up and buy BTC to hold them Grin #to da moon.
for what comes to Alternative coins , never thinked on them not even once . for me they are simply copies of BTC which dosen't really worth anything .

I sent 8 btc to my friend in 2011

What has he done with these coins? If he still owns them, you might work something out if that's still a good friend of you Wink.

Amen. I've read about Bitcoin quite a while ago before I really started mining and buying it.. That's another mistake of me indeed. I'm glad I was quite on time with Dogecoin. I've sold some of them during a good period, so I can't complain on that one.
