Sending €80 to a wallet, then deleting the wallet and anything to do with it.

Not backing up a wallet seed, with €5000 worth of coins and the USB it was on sh1t itself.

Not investing at €30 a coin because "they are too expensive and will fall again soon"

Probably buying €20k worth the other day, to see them at €330 today!

I am sure there will be more fcuk ups to come.

my worst mistake was always being too emotional when it comes to trading. which have always made me make irrational decisions which turn out to be wrong and cost me money.
I also ever make mistakes. I was impatient and too rash, then I bought the altcoins and the altcoins fell, I panicked and sold all my altcoinss at a low price, but it turns out not long ago the price of the altcoins rose,
I feel very regret

Basically downloading various different alt coin wallets and eventually getting my bitcoin stolen from a virus from one of the wallets still to this day I dont know which one it was

That is a new mistake I read. How much Bitcoin did you lost from the virus/Trojan program? Have you listed a list of wallets you downloaded in the Altcoin Discussion forum? It may help new Altcoiner to stay out of the program.

My biggest mistake was to store 0.6 BTC on MT.Gox. It is not that much compared what others lost, but it was 1/3 of all my Bitcoins some years ago. Iit was a mistake I learned from.

How much do 0.6 BTC worth at that time? Good that you did not put all your Bitcoin into one exchange. You learnt that you should split you Bitcoin between multiple wallets and exchanges.

my worst mistake was always being too emotional when it comes to trading. which have always made me make irrational decisions which turn out to be wrong and cost me money.

One of my mistake too. When I was day trading at OKCoin, I keep buying/selling at the wrong price because I am afraid that I would lose my Bitcoin.

What's the worst mistake you did with your Bitcoin? It can vary from starting to use Bitcoin to buying dumped Altcoin to gambling.

The worst mistake I made with Bitcoin is... Buying cloud mining hashrate. I bought 0.02 GH/s CEX.IO hash rate voucher at SEOClerk for $2 USD - or maybe $1 USD. I thought with 0.02 GH/s, I would be making a profit in half a year.. And I was wrong.

Well, I bought using the free five dollars coupon. So that does not count as making a mistake with Bitcoin. However, the slow profit lead me to buying hashing power from CEX.IO and later on.. ZeusHash using the Bitcoin I earned from signature campaign.. Again, I thought I would be making profit in a few months. Till today, I'm sure I have not make any profit from both the company yet. CEX.IO stopped their cloud mining operation and.. ZeusHash.. What do you think.?

I don't buy btc when I read an article about Assange and Wikileaks.
I remember btc price at 40-50$ Sad Yes I was truly stupid Sad

The worst mistake was believing the price at $80 was inflated and not buying, believing that within a few months it would be back down to $60.

I was too lazy to use 2FA on localbitcoins.
This summer a criminal organization stole from my account $11k worth of bitcoins. They accessed my gmail and then localbitcoins, facebook and some other shit sites too.

How can this be happen? Maybe you have mistake did too other than forgetting to use 2fa in your localbitcoins account. That is really a lot of money. How come you didn't make it secure.  Huh

As I said I was too lazy to use 2FA and couldn't predit a hacking attempt since I don't download anything on the server (home based - not rented) where I host my bitcoins and of course I'm not connected to any "bad guy" who could know my passwords.
Shit happens, what can I say  Lips sealed

My biggest mistake is when i spend all of my bitcoin in gambling first got lucky because it became x4 then i still didn't stop then the badluck comes that was the time ive f***** up :3 because i still continue it until i lose all of my bitcoin..

Lesson here is to have an selfcontrol know when to stop or stop gambling lmao.. Wink

That's what you called a beginners luck. And you can't just stopped yourself from playing because you don't want to ruined your winning streak.

I experienced that too in a high house edge dice site ( I don't know what house edge means back then) and able to turned my BTC0.02 in BTC0.3 for I think 4 or 5 days of playing. I even come to the point that earning btc is really quick. At the last day, all my earnings busted.

I sold my btc when price was around $ 250 and soon within a few days it reached $400, that was a really unlucky day for me.

yeah thats why, bitcoin a risk to their users, bitcoin prices are very volatile, you should know that,
you should be more patient

This is what other people wrong move. Bad decision.

But....

Regardless of the price, if you sold coins for profit taking then it's fine because after all you are seeking profit here. It's just that you regret after because you supposedly have a greater profit if you don't rush things.

my worst mistake was investing big amount of btc in cloud-mining sites, unfortunately everyone throw me, but ore-mine.org
I did the same thing before, i lost a lot even though i tried to cover a small part of loss, people are also accusing oremine as a ponzi so everyone should be careful.

Lost big amount of bitcoin is so regretful . Above all  if  we difficult to earn that lot of bitcoin.

I had an opportunity to buy Bitcoin when it was single digits, but I opted to wait and buy some time later losing that opportunity.
A loss of crypto always bothered me 100x more than the loss of dollars, and I made two common mistakes.
In the first case I sent money to the wrong address, but the generous man sent them back.
And the second was when I wrote wrong fee amount. So, people be careful really!!
