I did the same thing before, i lost a lot even though i tried to cover a small part of loss, people are also accusing oremine as a ponzi so everyone should be careful.

I sold my btc when price was around $ 250 and soon within a few days it reached $400, that was a really unlucky day for me.
I too sold it at $240 without knowing it will reach $400 within a week but I would not consider that as the worst mistake as BTC had been stable at that price for a year. There are many users who bought bitcoins when the price was $900 and my loss is nothing compared to theirs.
I would consider investing bitcoins in a wrong website like ponzis as the worst mistake.
i did many mistakes with btc..
first of a big mistake was to deal with a scammer guys who ripped my btc worth 50$ USD..
and then i bought 1337 coin at 5000 satoshi when it's market was too good.. and now it is stopped with only 2 satoshi value each per coin..
and third mistake is gambling.. i lost in gambling btc worth 2 USD...
and i did all mistakes when i wasn't earning btc.. i had bought that all..
and now i'm earning btc.. i value it... so now no mistakes
Your loss isn't huge but if it was all what you had then it was bad, gambling has many negative things and most of the people lose the money there sadly. first of a big mistake was to deal with a scammer guys who ripped my btc worth 50$ USD..

Ahh. That was one of the worst mistake I make other than cloud mining. I made a thread saying that I will update it once I make a profit (or maybe not) during June on YoBit.Net. The first week went good. Make some profit ~5%. The second week was bad.. I almost lose all my Bitcoin. So I stopped updating the thread. Wanted to start training on Bittrex but.. Afraid that I might make the same mistake again. Currently, I'm holding Bitcoin and some other Altcoin with good daily volume such as Hyper.
Having goals in your life is not a mistake, IMO. If it doesn't work out well as planned, you better find a way to solve it or just stop.

Ouch! That is a really achy thing to do to you. Well we learn from our mistakes. Now you are more careful in every investment that you will do or maybe just do it by yourself. Hodling your bitcoin and just letting it grew in time.

I quite regret following the advice of my friend, because my friend had made a profit on the site, because he has joined more than one week.
Im a HYIP enthusiast too when I entered bitcoin world thinking it is a great way to earn my coins.
Because Im doing a lots of safe methods now to earn bitcoins, I forget those promising returns that HYIP can give so now even I faced some good looking HYIP, I ignore them completely.
I bought some alt coins with speculation on higher prices but unfortunately my bitcoin investments went to half the worth. If I have kept my bitcoin in cold storage then it might be in double the value. This is the big mistake I did with my bitcoins.

I really don't admire new coins even they will raise their market cap and volume for a short period of time. Without proper research and will just based on their front cover, you will end up busted.

The worst would be not believing in it at my starting days. And my greediness of seeing it rise then trading it. I hope I can go back to that time where I will not trade it anymore so I got more profit now than what I have now. Just seeing it stay there at my other currency gave me the madness in myself.

now you will choose a place to invest smarter right? everyone has suck time,
don't worry you will receive better amount than that just put some faith on it.
spread the information about HYIP / ponzi scheme to the world that it is a bad investment and never fall into it so noone will never have same mistakes as you anymore.

Damn that sucks dude. Well, it's the same incident that happened to me, I also never like it, but I spend capital not for you, I only spend capital for 0006 BTC, BTC but it was my first, and finally the HYIP to be a scam site People learned from previous mistake or should I say people 'must' learned from it. So I consider it's fine if people think they can earned in HYIP program and scheme at first.
People really a dumb if after they end up busted in those kind of program, still they will continue to invest in those sites to chase the loss.
High returns, short ROI, that's the main cover of a HYIP site so beware especially to those new in this kind of scheme.
They can ask the community first if the site is somehow legit or suspicious.
