i bought some dead altcoins which their price kept going down
and i lost half of my bitcoin investment so that is my mistake with bitcoin
Similar history was also with me too, i bought some altcoins that were introduced here, the beginning was good as the price was pumped but at the end the value ends at 1 satoshi
haha yeah sometimes I stepped on a mine, sometimes I miscalculated and choose the wrong coin
Sometimes I buy coins scam, but the loss is not too large

The worse mistake I did is when I bought shitcoins with my bitcoin then they turned into worthless.

Yep pretty much the same here
I learned my lesson from this and am very careful into buying any altcoins

One of the worst mistakes I've made with bitcoin was investing
Investing in scam sites and losing everything I've invested.

It sucks if this has ever happened to you but you'll get over it once you figure out a way to make more money or get more btc.

Worst Mistake: Investing in ponzi's to think I could make a quick buck.. Yet i still somehow never learn..  Undecided

That sucks man. I would've thought that people would never make that same mistake twice.
Earning a quick buck seems too good to be true for me.
I would rather just earn a fair amount of bitcoins and sit on them.

Yeah repeating the same mistake twice doesn't sounds good, we all commit mistakes but we make sure that we don't repeat the same mistake, its better to loose in gambling rather then loosing in ponzi schemes as in gambling there are chances that you might even win sometimes and make a quick money. Though I lost in gambling and that was the worst mistake made by me.

buying physical coins.  The price was dropping, and I knew I had to get rid of them, so I ended up having to sell them at a loss, not to mention the btc rate had dropped while trying to sell them.  With btc, its all about liquidity, and so coins are NOT the way to go.

If I were you I would've kept them. Who knows what they are worth in 10 years. It's never a good idea to sell without getting any profits out of it.
I can understand why you did it though, the unstable period that comes around with bitcoin, I can see why.

It was not long after the mt gox collapse, so btc was looking VERY unstable.  I definitely dont regret selling them though as the exchange rate still hasn't gotten back to where it was when I sold them

When did you sell your bitcoins, I mean wich price?
If it was around the 600 or more I think was still good you might have make a lot of prfit with it.

Still you never regret anything, because we can't time travel so yeah.

Looking towards the past, i feel my i started to trust companies too fast.
A quick chance to get a lot of money and then it turned out to be a scam.

I Guess I was a real bitcoin newbie.
