The worst mistake I did with my bitcoin well maybe this mistake is a mild one, hehe when bitcoin is having an remarkable growth increase and not converting my BTC when bitcoin is up, I just lose $20 by not doing so, sadly I need to wait for the coming increase again. Sad

Good to hear that that is your worst mistake. Selling at $20 USD lower than Bitcoin peak is good. Now, hold onto your Bitcoin and sell Bitcoin (or maybe "use"?) when Bitcoin reaches another peak. Smiley.

One other mistake i had made were when i searched a bit about bitcoin and the cloud ponzi sheme offering a possible roi into 6 months or less,i had joined too late into them ,and i choose zenminer and genesis ,on the first one i had roi because the pumped happened on the miners soo i left before turn into a scam, the other in a while i get some payment but my roi time is something around 10 years with lucky,i just spent 0,09btc atleast were not a big ammount ,but turned into a waste.

0.09 took me a long way to earn. Well, anyway, I hope you will not trust those cloud mining operation anymore. I am not trusting them anymore after losing to three companies. It is good that you have got ROI from one of them. I have never got any ROI yet from cloud mining. :/.

Spending BTC to rent hash for some shitcoin and ending up a bagholder.

Haha. Do you still have those "coin" in your wallet? Or you dumped them somewhere and forgot about it?

the worst mistake with bitcoin for me would be not buying it when it was <$100 ea ,  Shocked i was thinking about how this could be the worlds next big currency and just decided not to go with it.

Now, you are using Bitcoin. So I expect you to know the answer now. Tell me how could Bitcoin be the next big world currency

Sold about a 100 or so while they were about 20$. Can't really check now, It was my old account so I don't have details for it anymore.

But I kind say that was a mistake, I still made profit, so that's good, right?

Look like many here got many BTC's in the past when the price is not that quite interesting for years so they stop and just forget about it. Well I think I will do the same if I have that lots of btc's in the past because we don't know what will happen.

Let's just put that in the grave and start another journey with bitcoin. Wink

Yes. Like what I always said, at current price of 300 USD, we are all still consider early adopters. Smiley.

The only mistake i remember is that i haven't bought some bitcoin when the price was around 1$ per coin. If i have done that i may have become a rich teenager because i usually have around 200$ in my online pocket everytime so 200x1000$= 2,00,000$ that is around 2 corore Nepali ruppess i can buy house, car and also do fixed deposit to get lifetime interest.

Buy a house, car and get lifetime "salary" without doing anything? If time could travel back you will definitely buy Bitcoin right?

I bought some altcoins and waited to sell them at high price. Prices went down instead, and i am still holding those altcoins.

Yes. I also trade Altcoin and most of their rates went down before I could sell. I am still holding onto those altcoin in my Bittrex and YoBit account. I might never be able to sell them because most of them are pump and dump coin. One even got removed from Bittrex trade market.

Worst mistake I've made was trying to trade the market - for someone like me it is always better to just hodl. Thankfully my loss it wasn't too much but enough to make me miss it. Hehe.

Agree. For someone like me, it is always better to hold onto Bitcoin or potential Altcoin instead of trading them everyday. My loss is not much too. Around 0.02 BTC or less. Smiley.

I'm new to this forum so first post here goes...

A few regrets:

1.
I was aware of bitcoin when they were worth under $1 but never really trusted the exchanges and didn't buy my first BTC until Dec 2014. (Big regret)

2.
AUG 23 2015
Bought bitcoin
41.63874832 BTC for £6,000.00 GBP

AUG 26 2015
Sold bitcoin
31.7740 BTC for €6,284.22 EUR

The regret: Not holding onto these (at least until they hit $500 last week!)

3.
Trading Bitcoin, a tendency to panic buy/sell during trades regret not being a bit more patient.

Regrets is part of our life. Somehow without it we wont learned. I see you have a quite small margin when you do the trade. Patience really needs in that line of btc earning method. I think you can make it better now in your next move.

Best decision:
-bought during panics/depressions when everyone else was selling

Worst decisions:
-bought overpriced mining hardware in 2013
-bought altcoins
-didn't sell during the price booms

Worst mistake with bitcoin was the first mistake as well. Horn polished a shiny green, I bought into some shitcoin pump and waited like a sap for about 5 days for the tide to, well, return. Sure enough it didn't but I never had this happen anymore either.

A shitcoin pump? What's that when it's at home?

I think my worst mistake was not getting in at the $20 mark when the Silk Road was the most usable place for BTC. Not into drugs, or the deep web and didn't fancy ending up on 'a list' so I avoided it.

Then when I saw suits like Max Keiser et al talking about it on TV, I paid attention.

Shame.

Cannabis is expensive on silkroad, rather buy food. Finnish system is stupid and insane. Many who grow cannabis is behind bars. Why is it not legal on all EU states?!

I don't understand what you mean with 'when it's at home'. Do you mean on the toilet?

It was an altcoin of which I forget the name.
