this years the worst movie award goes to 10 cloverfield lane Smiley a touch of a horror suspense drama with a zombie and alien twist and an alien technology that can be easily blown by a pillbox Cheesy watch it and you be the judge...

I actually really enjoyed that movie. Avoiding any spoilers for anyone who might wanna watch it - I do agree that the ending was a little silly, and it was obvious that the producers decided to make the "Cloverfield" link to get more viewers/interest.

But it was an absolutely stellar performance by John Goodman, and the lead girl played the part very well too IMO (I forget her name). The suspense in the bunker really had me on the edge of my seat, and even though the ending was a bit dumb, it was very gripping for me, saw it in a cinema with a pretty good, loud sound system...

I also enjoyed the movie, except the climax. The suspense building was good and the acting was fairly good from everyone. I just hoped for a better ending.

I believe it's called Zardoz, with Sean Connery.

I need to rewatch Zardoz to see how horrible it is. I saw it as a kid and just thought it was really weird.

Speaking as a connoisseur of Cold War era post-apocalyptic dystopianism, Zardoz is great fun.

That's why it was paid homage by Rick & Morty.   Cool

Nearly pissed myself laughing the first time I saw that!   Grin

I remember that giant floating head thing, and some plot about immortality. And Connery hiding inside the statue's mouth. I was really young when I saw it, and at the time didn't think it was bad, just strange.
