Everything is possible, such a thing is likely to happen in the currency, along with the development of the block chain technology, there may be a future coin instead of the BTC, coin, of course, this must be a more powerful, more convenient to use.

Bitcoin has its own future depending on how it will maintain its market. It takes a lot of good planning and implementation to keep it growing and moving. And Yahoo is a great platform for social media media. But Yahoo does not try harder like google
i don't think so . google'search technology and experience are better than yahoo . so people choose google . but bitcoin is a currency . people choose a currency because of its value , not just technology .
Of course it is very possible. Bitcoin would end up like yahoo and be replaced by another coin but it would not happen in the near future because the bitcoin is still far away in the first position. Altcoin is still far below even if it is ethereum. I think ethereum is getting ready to replace bitcoin. So, let's see how this will work and end.
Future bitcoins we can not foresee, but I think now that bitcoin has grown and has a large user community, Bitcoin has the highest value now, Bitcoin has a strong consensus in mind people. I hope it will thrive in the future and will be a stable source of income for everyone.
Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started. It was the pioneer in its field. In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B. Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.
After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B. Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

The point is that Yahoo was the FIRST search engine with no viable alternative. But in condition of capitalistic society you have to be competative if you want to hold your positions. Google provided more opportunities to the average user and that ultimately kicked Yahoo from this market. It happens again if bitcoin will repeat the same mistakes.
I can never tell you, what lies ahead of us in the future, maybe Ethereum can be a number and will continue to precede Bitcoin. Chances are it really happened or we may see other coins can actually increase Eth. The only thing permanent is the normal life phase.

We never knew before that Google will going to beat Yahoo. We couldn't predict what may happen in the future, but one thing is for sure. There's a time that Bitcoin might end up with Yahoo's fate. We never know when, where or how. But, I'm kinda certain that there will be a coin whose going to exceed BTC in terms of popularity, usage and market value someday.
It will certainly not happen. Since the birth of Bitcoin, it has been the leader in cryptocurrency and its status will always exist. Bitcoin has a strong consensus in people's minds, which Yahoo does not have. Business competition is cruel and you will be killed by your opponents. Bitcoin will not.
yahoo is still alive and kicking although it has beaten already by google and that scenario could probably happen to bitcoin and etherium. Bitcoin is the yahoo while etherium is the google . If ever bitcoin was de throned by etherium and bitcoin looses popularity overtime , bitcoin will still be here and bitcoin will always remain the best cryptocurrency just like yahoo did. i dont really mind it at all and i dont worry either because both eth and btc are still verry good when it comes to usage and profitability matters. Same goes with yahoo and google.

We can never know what will happen in the future. But I think this is not impossible! This is true for all technologies. One day, another technology will replace them.
I do not know what will happen in the future, but new coins keep popping up and bitcoin becomes a reference in its conversion value. I'm sure the future bitcoin will not experience anything like happening to yahoo, Etherium is one of its competitors, but it still needs each other in my opinion.
I don't think the price of the bitcoin will near end or become or die. Because for me the end of the bitcoin is not sure when it happen because maybe after few years it will become dead but it's not sure. Becausr we know as of they have a lot of altcoin now and for sure one of them are replace bitcoin and maybe bitcoin price will dump more but we don't know what really happen to bitcoin. But I hope the price will continue to increase. I hope also bitcoin will not look like yahoo. I hope bitcoin will stay here in online world and become more popular ..
Really, your thoughts remind me, I think one day Bitcoin will be replaced by other coins, because Bitcoin's algorithm is still not advanced enough.

Bitcoin can't be compared to Yahoo, since it is a decentralized asset. Also, Yahoo went down as a result of the arrogance of its promoters and the board members. One name comes to my mind very prominently... and that is of Marissa Mayer. We don't have such people associated with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first or the primary digital currency created by Satoshi. As long we have the internet connection it too difficult to end the future of the bitcoin. The bitcoin is proceeding to develop and have great potential in the future due to the advantages that we can get on the bitcoin. We have a great deal of contenders against the bitcoin. I think they never win. As long the blockchain proceed to build up the framework.
I don't think so. Bitcoin is the demand of this generation people. It's the best way to transfer money and also it's the best medium of investment. Day by day the people are getting curious about bitcoin. Once there was a time when no one knew about bitcoin but now the time has came. Most of the people at least hard about the crypto currency. People getting more relay to transit through crypto currency. Actually the crypto currency is safe and more easy to transit.
Given that thought now I've that altcoins have chances to overtake bitcoin and gain a better value. But as we can see bitcoins are very complex and time is the only parameter that can decide on who will be on the top crypto.

For me, the first is not always the best. Bitcoin is far from the perfect crypto currency. It's not completely anonymous, costs are high enough, and the confirmation time is too late. After an altcoin ticks all these contacts and it will be ready to race bitcoin. That does not mean that bitcoin will die if it happens all over the world and the economy can not develop quickly.
