I finally gave in and bought a HW.1 just last week... I wonder how i lived without it Smiley
It keeps my private keys as safe as using a paper wallet, while i can still use it without completely sweeping it and making a new one.  Grin

I know, aren't they great!?  I couldn't believe it took me so long to finally buy one.  They are so cheap too.  It was the best bitcoin investment I have made for sure.

They're the best... I used to use an android wallet to keep pocket change, electrum to keep a couple hundred dollars worth of BTC and paper wallets to store my main funds... Paper wallets are great, but you have to keep on making them, sweeping them, trashing them,... In the end, it's a big hassle. Now, i've invested a lousy 18 bucks, and i'll never have to reboot with a live cd, unpack bitaddress, generate wallets, put them on a usb, print them, erase the usb,... Just pop in the stick, open the client and transfer  Grin

Why do you think they aren't secure?  What method do you use to store your bitcoin, that isn't a hardware wallet, and is secure?

Yes I would buy one!

The case bitcoin wallet or the trezor is a good option for a hardware wallet I have been wanting to buy one for along time now, but its a bit expensive!

Paper wallets are a free alternative!

i would never buy a hardware wallet. why would you buy something
that's not secured enough like your own wallet in your pocket. there are always good hackers i don't trust a hardware wallet.
Yes I would love to buy one because such a wallet is pretty secure and I would also feel safe to use instead of a normal
Hardware are almost not hackable, are they even hackable ??

I agree, I also would like to do this because its very safe and I think its just cool to have such a wallet.
Hardware wallets are just pretty safe.

Hi all,

I am doing some research for a Bitcoin company that is interested with developing a hardware wallet to see if it has a viable market. Trezor has some traction, but perhaps only in the existing Bitcoin community. With things like Multi-sig popping up everywhere, do you think this negates some of the pressing need for Hardware wallets? Interested to hear your thoughts.
Good idea to initiate hard wallet for better security and comfortable used. i think the problem is still about price of that wallet,i'm sure people more like to choose online wallet with free registration, because trezor is still expensive for some people, can you give us free hardware wallet? Cheesy

If I didn't already have a hardware wallet, I would buy one right away.  I have a Ledger nano and love the thing!  I can't believe it took me so long to buy one.  I think a hardware wallet still has a huge market, even with multi-sig.  It's so much easier to be able to just plug in a secure device and spend your bitcoin.  A hardware wallet must be portable and easy to use.  I love how small the Ledger nano is and how well it works with my phone via OTG cable.
