No I would honestly not buy an hardware wallet because I think that a hardware wallet is not worth it and its also that with an hardware wallet you are not always secure that the security is good.
The purpose of hardware wallet is just for the people are searching about more level security and with guarantee their amount is not disappearing caused by the another people. the worst thing the hardware wallet is can be broken or disappearing caused by the fault of owner and i can't say that is not worth in this day.

I also think that due to the lack of security it has its not worth investing in a hardware wallet, I rather prefer a paper wallet or a cold storage they are in my eyes much safer and for me also better to use for my amount of bitcoins.

You are partly right but its also depending on what kind of hardware wallet because some are pretty good protected if you are asking me.
I think its just a matter of time before they get more protected.

Maybe in the future that I would buy a hardware wallet but right now I'm pretty happy with my nice paper wallet I'm having right now.
Its a good wallet and I right now also love it more than a hardware one.

Me either I'm also planning to buy hardware wallet in the future but as of now I am very satisfied on what I have and what I am using which is online bitcoin wallet. Because it is free, and I don't have to invest with it too. But for holding bitcoins for longer time hardware wallets are good to consider but you need to invest with it too.

For me? I don't have any plans to buy such any hardware wallets since i am not an big holders who wants to hold any longer and i guess the people who needs that are those business man and big whales on tradings since they can assure thay there allocated money are in safe waet aswell us they can make sure that they will not bwe compromise by such account locking.

I cannot say if I want to buy a new hardware wallet, but certainly I would welcome new participants in the hardware market. The more providers offer hardware wallets in the market, the more offers I can choose from. With other words, the more possibilities the customers have. Furthermore, I think more competition could expand the prices in two directions that you could buy a HW wallet for and also expand the features because providers could get inspired by each others' innovation.

is there an assurance that hardware wallet won't be corrupted after years?

as far as i know if you don't use a device for months it will starts to deteriorate and will somehow malfunction in the end. so from time to time a person who owns one should at least access it maybe once a month.

Lol. Even I won't go with hardware wallet but it's waste to buy a with our money and use it. Instead of that we can use the paper or cold storage or desktop wallet itself. I feel hardware wallet is kind of fancy to show off.
Even I do not find hardware wallet as a waste of money, I do not want to go for it as if a technology that might get failed by any damage or virus. But, having a hardware wallet for small amounts of bitcoin as a hot wallet must be a great idea as it ensures many security measurements for safety of our bitcoins.

Well there are  still people  or bitcoin holders do tend  to  buy  hardware wallet  because   they want to have  it everytime  on  their  pocket  or any palce that they want and  its also  ideal for storing  huge amounts  of bitcoins  but  same as yours  i would  like to use desktop wallets afterall.

I think hardware wallet is safe place to keep bitcoins. For me it looks safer than desktop or online wallets. But hardware wallet is expensive thing, so I don't have plans to buy it. I'm confident enough with online wallets.
it's safer but it's more expensive comparing the web wallet you can get them for free. so with they're offering a valuable for us and there are the advantages giving by the hardware wallet like an automatic sync with a desktop wallet and low risk because the worst thing if we are losing or broke our hardware wallet.

No I would not like a hardware wallet because its not something that I need and I also think that its not the safest way to safe your bitcoins to be honest.
Due to that I think its not the best way to safe them.

I think people who have security worries about hardware wallets ain't looking hard enough. the whole point of them is that they're as secure as you can get. what i'm less confident of is longevity. if I want to park coins for many years I wouldn't trust flash memory to do it.
The longevity solution is rather simple and has been an addage many people have been taught as a kid. That is, "don't keep all your eggs in one basket. The neat thing about bitcoin though is that you can keep all your eggs in multiple baskets via backups. Yes, I would even back up a hardware wallet to a few different places if it had enough in it to be worried about.

I would maybe consider it if I have a larger amount if bitcoin in my hands, but right now I'm not planning on getting one.
Maybe in the future I will, I now have a paper and online wallet.
