I dont think hardware wallets can protect your bitcoins for sure because already stolen from me out of a hardware wallet maybe it is better to store them local?

If you are a sensible type of  person you would   surely kept your hardware wallet  to a secure place  which cant be possibly stole  by anyone from you. Hardware wallets  is more secure that  web wallet   in my own  opinion because  on  hardware wallet you could  simply keep it and you are the only one  who holding it unlike on web wallets.

I really trust more in web wallets than in harware wallets. The safety could be extreme but blockchain or bitcoin core is pretty accesible. It could be good for cold storage but I don't trust thousand of dollars in a hardware. You know, I had problem with blockchain in 2015 but nevermore. It's getting better everyday and the resources involved are awesome in blockchain. The support is also great.

I agree with you a hardware wallet is okay but a blockchain wallet (online wallets) are also good and its that some are good wallets and some or not good, when I talk about this I''m talking about the online wallets and the same rule is also applying for hardware wallets.
But even if the online wallet is applying a same rule with the hardware wallet, but the hardware is giving more than web wallet and that's why the people is interesting for buying a hardware wallet.... just plug and your hardware wallet is already synchronize with your computer.

Hardware wallets would be  somehow  safe or  more secure than to those  online wallets . This  hardwares would  be advisable  if you do have many bitcoins on your possession but  if you dont have much bitcoin then its better to use web wallet  because it would  add expenses only if you would  buy  hardware wallets.

Hardware wallets are nice for the experience, but aren't necessarily better in terms of security compared to storing wallet files on USB drives.

At least, that's how I look at it. I am storing my wallet backups in USB drives since the very beginning, and it works fantastic for me.

And the best of all is that it's a free storing method since everyone has them in their homes.

I would never buy a hardware wallet and that is just becuase i dont like to get rid of my coins i store my coins local because i dont trust the internet wallets sorry for that.
I think those hardware wallets are also like local wallet but rather than downloading whole blockchain ledger they just use remote server to make transaction. Downloading whole bitcoin ledger is very hard these days so we don't have much option left rather than using web wallets.

Downloading the  whole blockchain is  a really pain in the ass  and you would need  huge space on your storage  and you need to wait for  couple  of days before  you  could download it completely but its worth  for the effort  and time  you spent because   pc  wallets  do have some  advantages compared to  web wallets. For me  hardware wallet would also do  if  you have bitcoin to store from it.

I agree, that  is  why i prefer other light wallet like electrum or multibit, i even tried web wallets and even android  wallet.  Though im up for a pc wallet for security  and full access.  i will also like to  buy  harware wallet to securely store my bitcoin and keep it and open after 5 to 10 years of keeping it.

Its almost  90 gb as of todays update, its really hard to download this   it would took you long time like on your situation you would eventually able to download it for 30 days? lol. Your  pc might blown up for sure  not turning  of  for whole 30days. Agree hardware wallets   is more secured compared on online wallets.
i wonder if you buy a hardware wallet you will get the whole blockchain downloaded into it or not or the wallet is just specialized only for privkey and any similiar thing, because most of desktop wallet now doesn't require us to download the whole blockchain

I agree how many gig  is the blockchain? I bet in my country's connection speed, i have to download it for 30 days LOL including data cap per day.  Looking at this scenario LOL i would prefer light wallets like electrum or multibit, i don't prefer online wallet and i would likely get hardware wallet because of the more security it  gives .

would buy a hardware wallet if it is cheaper than Trezor and has Android app
it seems like since 2014 not much changed, there are not so many competitors at this market
paper, brain wallets are alright, but once you are operating with big sums of money in coins
hardware wallets are best securitywise
imho trezor is ovepriced,so if there is a cheaper option with same security and added functionality ,consider me in

Hardware wallet is the new platform for bitcoin wallet and I'm considering buying in the future and I know that others too. As time pass by I'm hoping for some improvements in hardware wallets that will be more advantageous than the other platforms.

I am not sure it is the new platform but it is a device which makes it way more safer for you to store your bitcoins. The more bitcoins you have the more the need is to buy a hardware wallet. If you are a geek you may find it easy to make one with a quality usb, but if you are not a geek, just buy a trezor device.

I would maybe do this but I do not really like such wallets if I have to be honest because these wallets are just so easy to get, you only have to steal the wallet thats all.
I rather them have a paper wallet it feels safer and is in my eyes better.

The most hardware wallets are good secured and have no security problems, I think that a hardware wallets is better because its your own thing and there cannot happen something with it if you are storing it safely!

We are all witnesses that cloud wallets, although convenient are not necessary secure enough. Hacker attacks are happening more and more often. With time people will pay more and more attention to security and that is the reason why hard wallets will have their market.

Buying a hardware wallet can be good but I think that I would not use it a lot because I have some other wallets.
I also use online wallet so that is why..

I think that its also not worth it because its not very easily with payments, online wallets are better for payments.
On the other hand hardware wallets can be nice for large amounts maybe.
For me its good to lite version like our uses online wallets or electrum.. i tried to use hardware wallet but i have only slow internet it takes a long time before you can sync if you dont open your hardware wallet gradually or daily you will late for syncing and it takes a long sync again if you have a slow internet.

I think it is difficult to use hardware wallet if the internet is slow, but for safety's sake if you have much better hardware using bitcoin wallet
Are you ever trying to use the hardware wallet? in my opinion isn't like you said. because that's is not acquiring for providing the internet connection with high speed.
