I would also like to invest into IEOs other than a project running ICO. Most ICOs even fail to list on exchanges after receiving funds from investors. Most IEOs that i have read about have seen a very huge success in their token sale and also are doing very great on the crypto market.
IEOs are now trending. Majority are abandoning ICOs for IEO project. is really worth it, are you also going to abandon ICO for IEO?
in my opinion ICO hasn't died yet there are several ICOs that will profit you even though it's small so I use both of them between ICO and IEO while it can benefit me 
As you can see, IEOs that are listed on big reputable exchanges are mostly in profit after a token sale. While other classic ICOs are not even listed on exchanges. 
Investors are aiming to join IEO's instead of ico's because of this advantage, why wait if you can try your luck buying from exchange who offers the sale then wait after that and have the chance to earned double or more than that, this feature coming from IEO's are widely supported of those people who already disappointed with how ico's performance.

I keep seeing a couple of threads comparing IEO and ICO. The difference is obvious, most ICOs turned out to be scam, because no one knows the authenticity of the team members and also when they will list their coin. For IEO, coin listing is certain and team is verified.
I am going to invest only project I deem worthy enough for my money, be it ICOs, IEOs or just buying the coins on an exchange, following the trends without second thought is what led to losing investment for a lot people coming in newly into crypto.
The majority most of the investors and base on the survey for sure more investors will prepare to invest to the IEO because as ICO investor since last few years I lost too much money. But because of IEO Im recovering my lost from the money that I invested last year. ICO is not good choices because we want IEO now it is the new version of the ICO.
Majority did leave ICO for IEO investment and in my opinion there is no need to leave the ICO if it really wants an IEO investment because we can do both
I still use the both ways to choose some project that I think interesting. Indeed, IEO give me a little confidence to make at least my money safe because there is an exchange who can able to replace it if the project exactly scam. Also,in the first season usually the new way to make money from an investing way will give a lot of profit because there will many people who interest to join with it and after that if this way has been knowing by all people slowly this way will be found a gap to cheat and eventually will end up such ICO. But at least if this really end up such as ICO I wont be regret because I have made profit from it. And for ICO, I still find some ICO who has potential especially ICO who promote their project in bounty campaign. I'll find a project which have a trusted manager and then I'll choose it for an investing place.
It depends on the project anyways and also th Exchange that th IEO is taking place. For the record, majority of IEO tokens always dip very very low. So if am participating in any IEO, I will sell with little profit and move on so I won’t turn to a holder. Also ICO projects mostly don’t want to list for trading on exchange they make too many delay which is bad. For this many people will prefer IEO.

I do like IEO but that doesn't mean that there isn't people that doesn't like ICO. If I do see an ICO that seems very good and after some thorough digging and it looks like it is going to perform very well, then I'm definitely going for it immediately. Same as IEO, some of them are also not worth. IEO seems like they are safe, but the truth is that not all of them are, I have seen someone that complained about an IEO that he participated in, surprisingly this IEO was even backed by Binance as the exchange for it. So its all about finding the right ones to invest in. Just because it is an IEO doesn't mean that it is definitely going to be a good run for your money.

To be honest they are basically the same thing. I cant be given an opportunity where the project will be listed immediately after sales and go for a project that doesnt know if they will list anytime soon? I can decide to pick projects from my top listed exchanges and be sure i can feel secure trading after investing on such project listed by that exchange. In other words IEO is the new ICO
I am trying to participate in IEO now, if possible, because now I can earn money on it, and I do not invest in ICO now, because there are not enough worthy projects
Well, IEO is becoming more and more attractive as an industry, so I would say that it is definitely considered more and more often these days. But have you guys heard of Farm2Kitchen IEO project? Curious to know your thoughts on their idea, cause from my point of view looks bold
Initial Exchange Offering will kick ICOs from the market. Too many people were scammed by ICOs, so, probably, IEO will manage to return the good name to the projects that are connected with the cryptocurrencies. A lot of platforms have announced the launch of their IEO.
The main feature of them is trust, and it is the main advantage of these IEO. Definitely, it is the better choice.
Of course, I’m going to invest in IEO, and the experience is already there, and it brought a good profit ... maybe later, people will get bored or something else will happen that may have compromised IEO, but for now this is almost a guaranteed profit ...
IEO is better when it can be listed and we can sell immediately when receiving tokens but as you say, nothing is guaranteed about the project, developers can still disappear, the price when listed can still be lower than the price we buy in the IEO. People invest in the IEO right now, it's just that they want to invest in the trend, trends are always a factor we can take advantage of to make money, and when this trend ends, invest in an IEO or ICO, all based on what the project provides, good projects and low risks, we will participate and vice versa
Human wants are really insatiable, I have seen cases in this forum where people complain of IEO price dumping too after they enter exchange, what do we imagine will happen if we keep having the mindset that we should sell immediately when they get listed and enter exchanges.If we all follow that rule, which money will then be left in the market, how do we make cryptocurrency overtake the FIAT system, when we make money from crypto and change it back to FIAT immediately for bankers to get richer.
For the trend, I think the trend already ended with Binance as their IEO platform are not getting their project sold out that fast again as it was when IEO first started from Binance, the hype has died down and people are face with the reality of researching the project before investing.
I think people are focusing on the wrong thing, what does it matter if a coin is coming up via IEO or ICO or STO, they are all the same and just tools for the coin to come to life.
The important part is to actually have a decent coin which is the hard thing, if you manage to find a coin that has a great team, that has a great blockchain, a great road map and many other important great things including a big community behind supporting it and considered to be the next big thing, would you care if its IEO or ICO ?

That is why the difference between IEO and ICO is minimal, it only affects the first few days where normally ICO wouldn't be listed on a great exchange whereas IEO would make you get listed right away but if a coin is great then it will get listed on big exchanges anyway.

This is quite a difficult question for me because I am yet to consider neither of them. Reasons are because they have their red flags. IEO would have been great not until sales started ending in seconds
