Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).
One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.
There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley
Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?

i think it is a good feature to have, but not a required feature because many users may not want it at all, and feel their privacy is compromised.

but i think it is not such a bad idea if for example the gambling site has an option for you to choose between signing up with Email, or Facebook, .... or other social media profiles and also let you post stuff on your social media for example a nice win on your twitter or automatically post your ref link with nice pictures and your win bet on your twitter. but as i said it must be an optional feature.

Involving personal matters on gambling is very risky because it might result ro leakage of your information when the gambling site is caught by Law. Gambling is not legal on many countries so it is not advisable to attached personal info and it os better to play anonymously so that no worries in future.

thats another reason why i dont want to use the site who ask personal information since im afraid to compromised by them if something bad happen to them truly and also it can put us invain if the site we give our identity is just collecting personal data so that they have information to be used on their online ilegal activity, so giving an personal info for me is a big no.

The option should be available, because if someone doesn't have problem with that it's an easier way to login.
But an alternative way to login should be presented for people who would like to protect their identity and use the site anonymously.
I, myself, won't login to a gambling site using a social account.

Me too. Usually i create a dummy account when logging in to a gambling site. It really doesn't sit well with me or i don't feel at ease with the thought that the information i have in my social accounts would be seen or accessed by anyone. With the frequency of identity theft nowadays, i wouldn't risk it.

why should use twitter/fb/googleID to signup/login on gambling site if we can use unique URL only for ourself or register with unique username and email, i don't think it will safe because our social media its not safe to use gambling its private Smiley i dont think it will safe if the gambling owner will hack our social media if that gambling site not trusted enough
They do really have the access on our social media accounts since we do log-in using that thing and its not really a good thing to do in my own opinion and for sure most gamblers wouldnt do also on this kind of thing.Better to be safe without risking our identity on public.
Yup people are always trying to hack our casino sites accounts to hack our coins, So if we log in with our social media accounts they will get access on our social media accounts. If it happens, we will lose 2 things one is our coins in sites, and another one is they can use our social media profile to any other bad things. So better don't use your personal accounts to log in any casino sites.
You are right both things will be compromised as well because they know already your informations which they could anytime use it if they have plans on you and i dont like that for that thing will happen to me.Better to use the traditional ways on playing gambling online.

I think it not necessary because I prefer anonymous login without the need for a social media profile. By login on gambling sites using social media profile it means our identity will can be found. I prefer anonymous because my identity and security can be maintained, it will be more secure because of privacy maintained.

That will a safe way if we not show up our identity, but mostly people using Social Media not use real Identity too, so it's not been to risky use our Social Media account to login in gambling site, but I prefer not use my Social Media Id to login in gambling site, but it is up to each people.

Even you are not using real identity or not in social media that still matters because those social medias will just simply collect data's upon linking to a gambling site. And I will not going to do it and agree if a casino requires me to do so. It's better to stay unknown rather than you are going to show that you are one of the people who do bitcoin gambling.
There might people would really use their social media accounts on logging on a gambling site because they don't mind if they expose their identities on playing gambling. Signing up on just using your social media account and stuffs is really a non-hassle/convenient thing but on most gamblers they wont really use this stuff.

Several gambling websites have given us the access to gamble without revealing our identity, then why to use Facebook, Google or Twitter account to access gambling websites. This helps us to participate into gambling even if you're in the country where gambling is legally banned and if found using its considered a crime.

No! Never! Not in your dreams  Grin

Let's be fair, BTC gambling is great for one thing only: anonymity
Sure it's not perfect, but it's good enough so you never have to hide your winnings for example.
So giving out my name and linking it to an adress?
lol

What's the issue?  You can use fake account too LOL.  Most of us here have extra social media accounts like FB, twitter and other stuff that we use to broadcast what is in our thought.  So I guess, I have no issue to use any social media account in logging in Casino sites as long as it is not my main one Smiley
it give the casino site the satisfaction of having soxial media login when it defeats the purpose of anon for someone using their real accounts.

i have no issue using fake account to login but if the site send pms and constantly spaming annoying updates, i wouldn't use it to login. it would still be annoying for anyone bombard with updates not your concern.

Honestly this is looks like a stupid question or this is like impossible things and even I think there is no gambling sites that can register via facebook, twitter, google +.
There's one casino that I know that uses a facebook id when logging in which is bitkong.com. I personally haven't tried the feature because they have accounts already made when you visit the site.

I think most of the players do not really use a real account because it will show the identity. I have never played on the gambling sites that provide such an option. if there is, I would not use my fb or twitter

Because indeed we should not be too show off our identity to any place, including to the gambling site. Too risky in case of unwanted things, you will be easily found. Even now the cyber been more intense, sometimes people using false identities can be tracked. Especially on fb and twitter we usually display our identity in detail.

No! That beats the purpose of gambling with bitcoins. Can you imagine how all the wives will get mad if they find out that their husbands have been using their money for groceries in dice games? The wives will find out and believe me it will be like world war 3 in your home.

And no one wants to know and give our information to those social medias because they can simply add us up to their database linking to thousands of ads daily when they knew that we are into bitcoin gambling. This is really not a good idea for those casino's that are planning to link their site players to social media, because no one really cares for it and won't do this.

I'm not going to drag myself to commit violation. Online gambling is prohibited in my country and that is like I'm admitting that I'm an online gambler regardless of its bitcoin or real money that I'm using, that is still against the law to gamble online. And we know the power of social medias it is now being monitored by governments and other agencies. So I will not going to put myself for this, I want to stay anonymous.

It would be a plus for some people if gambling sites offered it. I would use 1 of my twitter accounts to login. Not my facebook or google tho because I like to stay anonymous on gambling sites as said in OP.
lol you think when you did not login using facebook or google account you are gambling anonymously? i think as long as you did not provide real info on your accounts no matter it is twitter, google plus, facebook etc , it is not a problem.

things that break the anonymous feature are when the site ask for ID verification.
