Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
Yes, i think they should offer this, it would make things much easier and we could avoid unnecessary signing up on new sites just to check them. It is not so damn hard to create few accounts on facebook and use them for gambling log in if such exists on gambling sites. Just make sure to separate your private facebook account from your "business" one.

I haven't seen gambling websites that use a social media account to log in and store some of your information there, it's like why are you going to do that, especially if you are being anonymous and the gambling site uses bitcoins. I know there are gambling sites that use Steam, and I think that's okay because steam is widely used and technically, you are playing.
I don't usually notice gambling websites doing that type of login system as well. if they begin to use that then I think that they would go out of business since there wouldn't be that many people using the website due to that login thing. Why should they use that when they could use a different website while remaining anon?
i think bitkong offers this feature , so you don't need to put your email there but a social media instead , i just think it's not a good idea unless you log in from a fake account which make it all useless right? there's no good benefit on using social media. i believe people wouldn't want this feature , it's not really necessary.
Yes, that's the only way to save your details/account on bitkong. i think they'll change that in version 2. i find it unnecessary too, i wouldn't want a gambling site to know/have basic information of me.

Most of the people like to gamble witha hidden identity, that is the reason why bitcoin gambling is so famous, there will be no one want to link their account to any social media where the friends and families could see gambling, so no gambler will want to log in using their social media account

Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
it does not seem necessary because many gamblers want to hide their identity while gambling. in my country gambling is illegal so it would be better to create an account on the gambling site anonym. but if the gambler likes that option because there's no need to create an account on that site which is time consuming and just needs to connect it to a social media account it's good too.
Very few does this. I haven't used any of my IDs to generate a account in gambling websites. This is not just because of the identity loss, if they make the identity is a must I'll provide. Because I wish to be a part of the gambling network. But sometimes legal issues arise, which might trouble us high, for which I avoid using the personal IDs.

Having social media links can be a good decision if your in a country that gambling is legal and you wanted also to shared gambling experience, though now just having an email registered once would be enough, peiple now wants to make their self anonymous same with any transactions made in crypto it will be a lot better to do gambling unknown especially if we are not allowed to engaged in any gambling activities it might be due to your residency, culture or religion.

I think no, i mean they will know my identity. I'm using bitcoin for gambling because the anonymously, so i prefer make a simple account on that gambling site and that's it. I think most bitcoin gambling sites don't have that option, login via twitter, google or other social media accounts.

No, I prefer to have privacy when I'm gambling. I do not like having my social media connections knowing what I'm doing online, especially when it comes to gambling. But if a site requires this as a compulsory action to use the site, I would probably just create a new social media account just for gambling at that site.

They will get your token and if they do they can view your activities and all of your messages from facebook im preffered to create a new and fresh account than risking my social accounts. But i think of most of the gambling website don't use this log in auntentication
I agree i have barely seen any site which allows it's users to login using social media and i already am pretty sure that most of the gambling site owners are aware that most of it's users will surely not be willing to share their personal info indirectly

More players prefer to use bitcoin instead of fiat due to the anonymity and privacy oneself can enjoy. And I don't want relatives or colleagues to learn that I am gambling. Why should they know?

I probably wouldn't. Simply because there is no reason to do that when most of bitcoin gambling sites don't even require you to have account. None of them asks for ID or for your name, so why i should reveal it?

Even if they would give option to log in like this, i don't think anyone would do that, they would log in using email/password way.

I wouldn't use it too... Makes no difference. I like to create accounts in casino sites and I have no problem by giving an email, if I don't want to use my personal email I can use an alternative email, the same with the account name, you don't need to write your name there, just your nick.

You can continue anonymous signing up with email or these other accounts (Twitter, Google, Facebook...). I don't know if everyone thinks the same, but if the casinos feel they need to give more sign up options to users, they could implement this.

Logging in with Twitter or Google does not mean that you are no longer anonymous. You can also create a Twitter or Google Account with Tor or VPN. And if you do not provide any personal real data there, you are largely anonymous and can thus the log to gambling sites, too. Most people use a Gmail address to register on those sites anyway.

This is a good topic question.

For me, I would not do it. That would mean that my profile will be ultimately linked to my gambling account which I want to be completely anonymous. I want to separate my online life with my real one, not because I want to do anything scammy, but more on I don't want people prying with the shit I do online. I have a different persona online than my real one.

But some gambling websites ask for verified facebook accounts linked to contact numbers of the user and ask for a profile pictue too. Especially linkedn profiles are asked for by these sites and some even ask for ID proof so that users below 18 years are not using their websites. Anonymous sites are mostly that use bitcoins and they barely ask you to login through social sites. If we link our social sites, they may even post through them and send ads which makes it spammy.

Two things I'll do.
If there is a need and they are really requiring it, like for withdrawal or deposit -- Yes, but this is rarely happening.
But if that is just information collection from them, since I wouldn't know. I won't expose my details through web -- No.
There is no need to use our personal id's to login in gambling sites, and we can login with our secondary ID. Yup to do gamble create one ID and do all gambling active with that ID. Why simply use your personal ID. I am doing like this I created few ID's to register in all gambling sites. I don't like to see this gambling news in my personal emails and don't like to expose my gambling activity with my friends.
