Trying to arrange a deal, but Op really is hoping for the moon, wanting me to match the rate of a Eur exchange.
Does me no good to match an exchange I'm unable to get funds onto.
And Don't expect a none euro spending person to accept it, Paypal kills you with exchanging to local currency.

Shit. An escrower could still do it though, couldn't they? haha.

Let the seller know there's a problem with the transaction by opening a dispute in the Resolution Center within 45 days of making your payment. Then, escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days of the date you opened the dispute.

You could just buy it via an escrower, unless I'm mistaken. There are free escrowers out there.

I highly advise against using PayPal for Bitcoin. When there are new users involved (ie. newer than 2 years or so), one of two scenarios will almost always play out:

1. The seller ends up taking your PayPal payment and stalling until he can cash out
2. The buyer receives the Bitcoins but then disputes the PayPal payment

The only real question is which one of you is the scammer.

I forget how many days it is before it passes the period where you can dispute, but theoretically, if the seller deposits the BTC to the escrower, and then the buyer sends the money directly, over PayPal, can't the escrower just send the BTC after the period has passed?

I can go first with members with more trust than me but others will have to go first or use escrow.

Explain to me how exactly will escrow help in this case? You do realize Paypal can be reversed many months later?

Virwox or w/e it is...use that bud.

There are quite a few escrowers out there that do escrows for free; I might start doing it myself. If you're still looking for people next week, I'll be willing to do it for you haha. If you look at other Marketplace sections, there's a post of the list of escrowers, with their respective fees.

The problem is .145 BTC is worth $51+.  So not only losing money right off the bat but also losing money on the paypal fees, and you have to offer a percentage for the possible risk of using a reversable method like paypal.
if I send as gift you not losing on the fee
