I tried the other way around, but I found out it would prevent me doing business in the long run.. Roll Eyes

I understand and you are not breaking any rules against doing so but at least you could of registered another nickname. Some might not be too happy that you are just raising the prices of these miners for personal gain.

Why should I try to hide the fact that I am ready to buy and sell? There is nothing to be ashamed for. The only thing that matters is that, for a specific trade, both traders profit from it.

No both traders with you actually lose profit because you are the middle men pretty much.

Somebody sells at a loss to you and somebody overpays from you.

You are benefiting nobody but yourself.
^thats the entire pojnt of being a middle man. I routinely buy used mining equipment when the price is right (such as the S2 auction), and then advertise it locally for sale.

I probably make $300-600/month through local resales of gear like the S3 or SP20, around 30% ROI.

If MaximeAD can find both buyers and sellers at the prices advertised, I see no problem. OP makes profit, sellers ditch inefficient gear, buyers get local without needing to acquire BTC first or deal with overseas imports and delivery time. Capitalism at its finest Smiley

The use of the Paypal escrow has no fee.
PayPal is not an escrow. As mentioned many times they almost always favor the buyer

If they are losing, please explain why they would freely trade with me?
Because they are a sucker. People selling at the prices you are offering are likely both desperate for money and do not know how to sufficiently protect themselves.

Well, I do not see another deep liquid trader buying at higher rates. I think the price I offer are fair. You should offer more, it will help sellers on this forum.

Your "offer" to accept escrow but only with ah 4% fee only exaggerates this fact.

You didn't answer my question.

The obvious answer is that they are not losing. If someone is willing to trade with me is because it benefits him. My goal is not operate at loss but to provide liquidity in the market of used miners.

If my price are not fair, you are free to compete them.

Because you are paying very little to whoever is selling and you are charging too much for whoever is buying.

Mining is already tough as it is and you make it harder to make a profit when you take a large amount for yourself.

So you are buying in one thread for $140 and selling in another thread for basically $300

Price update! Unfortunate decrease in rates because I want to install what I will receive before investing more.
