surprising how a coin this old is just as maintained as the day it was new. tho I might add, contrary to what most people say, you need the correct RPC port to solo mine. the P2P port can be anything, but the RPC port has to be correct.

Hi

There should now always be GCN in the android games. Light Bikes, Slots and Bubbles are all full of GCN.

There was quite a bit of hacking going on clearing out those wallets. We had to make some changes.

http://casino.gcn.zone/ should be back around 15/02/2017.

Awesome news Greg it was really odd that the wallets were always empty. Also lowering rewards is a good thing in the long run.

Hi Guys,

We are putting a lot of work into recalibrating the games payouts and finishing changing from GCoin to GCN.

When we are done there will be GCN in the games 24/7 or reasonably close to that.

Greg,

Your miner is not properly configured. You are loosing around 16% of your hashrate.
Look here http://image.prntscr.com/image/6fb4848229b94427ba7bc85714fc9563.jpeg

My worker is 99.97% efficient, the rest of the pool which is yours is at 84%
You must be getting a lot of rejected shares, errors etc

Hi bitkokos2,

They're at it again.

I have a Miner-s1-Scrypt-80Mh on it.

Should clear in a couple of hours.

Those https://prohashing.com/ guys need to look at their system.

They are just looking for profits like everyone :-D

Hi bitkokos2,

You are right. I guess you can't blame them for that !

I am also trying to get in touch with some others and see if I can make GCN cooperate with their projects.
I will inform later about it through personal messages.
If it's feasible, GCN will skyrocket!

Concerning this matter, it is not feasible to add GCN. They only accept SHA256 coins.
I was talking about Iguana Project.

I am sure as more users join them, the problem will increase dramatically.
They started with 400mh/s, then 1500, now it's 3000.

A lot of good news Grin Grin Grin Grin Let's get GCN on C-cex

We will give GCN 1m for every vote https://c-cex.com/?id=vote&coin=gcn

Greg

The most difficult part is that we are not allowed to vote unless we transfer at least 0.1 BTC to the exchange for each user.

Greg, could you please restart the server of your GCN pool?
The pool hashrate fluctuates too much. Sometimes I go down to 1200 from 4000.
Same happens to other users.
Restarting the router might help too as it lowers latency.

Thanks

Good morning Greg.

Another option is the algorithm KGW (Kimoto Gravity Well)
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/21730/how-does-the-kimoto-gravity-well-regulate-difficulty

This regulates difficulty.

Excellent idea!

There is another cool difficulty retarget algorithm called DigiShield.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/213t7b/what_is_digishield_how_it_works_to_retarget/

We have already been approached by investors interested in Gfile.
We're expecting to build a 120TB server very soon.

Lots going on Smiley

Greg, are you planning on implementing a new difficulty retarget algo? Yes or no?

Other thing I must say is that you are the man!
Keep up the good work!
So much great things await this project!

Good morning Greg.

Another option is the algorithm KGW (Kimoto Gravity Well)
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/21730/how-does-the-kimoto-gravity-well-regulate-difficulty

This regulates difficulty.
If the difficulty goes up and left there, this algorithm regulates the difficulty after some time and lowers it.
For example if the difficulty is 20 and prohashing leaves, the network will lower the diff e.g. after 10 minutes to 15, then in next 10 minutes to 10, then after 10 minutes to 5 etc.
I am not sure how it works, but I found some coins who work this way.

In the above link someone wrote:
The goal is to have a more adaptive way of adjusting the difficulty instead of just averaging the last 2016 blocks like bitcoin. This is needed because of multipools which might switch the coin they are mining, and a sudden change in hashrate can occur (both increasing or decreasing). Especially when a multipool switches away you get stuck too long with a too high difficulty.

Hi bitkokos2

Thanks for your assistance Smiley

I've opened an account with www.miningrigrentals.com. We can put any amount of power in straight away now.
I tested it this morning and it works fine. We won't allow another 24 hour jam to happen again.

We have a healthy budget now for GCN since we sold the old name. There will be a lot going into www.gfile.us
and various other projects. We have already been approached by investors interested in Gfile.
We're expecting to build a 120TB server very soon.
