We are doing our very best to get #dandeloin working before this new release but its looking like TX's in some case are not getting there for ages.This would not be practical for users so if we can't get it this time we will keep it on testnet and roll out without it. #segwit

I know how you feel.I wish I had some cheap coins myself.All mine cost on average .034 BTC.Some people have doubled their money overnight on that flash crash and accumulated more coins than what some of us took years to get hold of.Such is life.

Looks simple if all 100,000 are participating in staking

but if only half is staking how much will rate be? 20% from total current supply or 20% from current staking amount?

Whatever balance you reserve for staking is where the 20% is calculated off.If you hold 100 for staking over the course of 1 year then that should work out at 20 coins staked on that balance once it has been permanently in staking.

So what's stopping us from creating an alternative to coinpayments and using XBC (no fees), btc, eth, dash etc as the main currencies. Along with this, a website similar to etsy can also be made which will have this payment thing integrated on it. Then we can promote that platform on pinterest and IG so that people could open their stores on this new website with the advantage of paying less commission as compared to etsy or even no commission if the buyer pays them in xbc. I can take care of the pinterest marketing and etsy part if some other members are interested to work along. I may know few people who might be able to create something like coinpayments. Not sure though.

Poloniex is a very sh1tty exchange, its very obvious they pumped XBC a couple of weeks ago just to dump their remaining stack on their users before delisting Angry

I guess we will witness the XBC volume & liquidity shifting from Poloniex to Cryptopia. That is already happening indeed.

Cryptopia still has a soul and appreciates small, innovative projects. They don't usually delist coins because of low volume. They delist coins because of severe technical difficulties or intractable network problems.

What is most important for Cryptopia is to be treated with respect, and informed promptly and comprehensively with all the details and help when there is a network upgrade like a hardfork.

Cryptopia and the other exchanges will be cooperated with on technical issues as always.I believe Cryptopia will absorb XBC volume into the future once they are respectful and put their traders on an equal footing.We understand that business is about profit but without the traders and coins they have none.Cryptopia have been issue free from the very start .The problem with Poloniex etc are the fact they simply kick to the curb anything that doesn't fit "their" vision forgetting that it was communities like us and coins like us that brought their platform to the heights it has risen.

For anyone looking to blame people for price fluctuations or market crashes the blame lies at their own door or with Poloniex.Nobody forces you to do anything or make decisions for you and nobody is going to listen to sob stories or hold you hand here.

We have all won and lost many time around here and if you don't have the stomach for trading bitcoin or altcoins turn off the light and close the door on the way out.

I think Dandelion needs more testing, some TXs are not getting minted into blocks. Might need more 2.7 clients on the network which has vanilla networking compared with 2.6 and before. Seems to work better on testnet between 2.7 clients.

Updated seeder software and daemons on ns2 (seednode2) and ns3 (seednode2).
Found and fixed a small bug that prevented 2.7 from running over a 2.6 datadir.

When you run 2.7 over 2.6 it reindexes the blocks, this can take a while, in fact it's quicker to delete the blocks and download the blockchain again. I'll take a look into why a reindex gets triggered and if there's a way around it. Could be simply down to the differences in bespoke implementation of LevelDB and serialisation in the old client.

2.7 is on the XBC repo but without Dandelion due to TXs not getting confirmed with Dandelion turned on.It will need more testing before any public release.
