I mistrust the bitcoin forks, but this project looks very interesting. I think that Bitcoin pulse will be another successful fork of Bitcoin.

Today BarterDEX tested our CLTV to make sure atomic swaps are possible then added us to their platform.
Do not expect any volume but it demonstrates that our first soft forks have enabled and work.As far as we can tell to access BarterDEX you need Node and NPM, download the BarterDEX source, run npm install and npm start to fire up the client.
It will become easier for people who are not technically proficient to do this later if XBC electrum X servers come online.Some exciting new developments will now be possible after our latest upgrade.Developments that would not have been doable without it.

BitcoinPlus 76% of the network has moved to the 2.7 release. The CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY soft fork is now active on the network. Thanks to everyone for upgrading. Join us on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinPlus_XBC/ … Telegram: https://t.me/xbcplus  #bitcoinplus #xbc

There's several soft forks happening on BitcoinPlus, the first one will allow atomic swaps and participation on Decentralised Exchanges. Once the feature is active and locked in then BitcoinPlus will join a DEX (Decentralised Exchange).

Upgrade to 2.7, available from the link below, to start staking and help BIP65 activate.

Soft fork tracker

You can follow the soft fork status on the web page below, the new feature becomes active when 75% of the network has upgraded, the feature locked in completely once 95% of the network has upgraded.

So I've just updated to the latest XBC wallet, I let it re-index and sync but now I seem to be about 22 XBC short.

What could have caused that to happen?

You could load up a backup of the old wallet in the old client and then compare it side by side in coin control to see the difference but the best thing to do is contact Peter Bushnell through [email protected] or through twitter,reddit or telegram and he will look into it further if nescessary.

hi plus bus i glad to see that your coin not died - but tell what a new exchanges after fatbtc?can be you try bittrex,c-cex,okex , huobi or binance(if you have a money - cause listing pric maybe 100 or more btc) or you have problems with it?you can try Mercatox also

It was never in danger in the first place.Fatctc listing cost approx $10,000 so I can't see too many more paid listings after this one.I would love to know where any coin gets the money in the first place to pay all these fees.Developers don't earn aything or make any profit so pays these bills?

In some cases developers are using their own funds to maintain coins and not charging communities for their time and efforts etc.I think in general all coins without a specific sustainability plan in place will not survive in the long run.XBC has a small community right now which don't really contribute anything to the project however the original vision that set in place a sustainability plan has allowed XBC to survive where others have not.

It is down to the community in general to put pressure on the exchanges they trade on to list their chosen coins instead of exchanges shaking down coins for money for a listing.Without coins on ther exchanges they would have no exchange in the first place.Community members need to keep the pressure on these exchanges to list XBC.

options:

-reindex

-rescan

.conf

reindex=1

rescan =1

Had a quick look in ~/ but couldn't find the XBC conf file. Sorry, it's been a while since I've had to edit a .conf file.

I assume i'm looking in the correct place?

Thanks for your help Smiley
