I tried barterdex but couldn't understand how to use it, nor I saw any sign of XBC there. I am ready to pay 50% of the listing fees for crex24. I've tried this exchange personally and its good. Don't look at the volume because they're atleast not faking their volume similar to fatbtc. THe total listing fees is 0.25 btc. I can handle upto 0.12 btc. Let me know if anyone is ready to pay the other half to get xbc listed on crex24.

I'll take you up on that offer and will pursue Crex24 to get a quote, in this depressed market you can often strike a better deal. I've spoken to Graviex and am getting us listed there, we could do with some back up exchanges after our run of bad luck.

We've finished the BTCPay integration but have had to leave it disabled due to Cryptopia going down, a fair amount of time has been lost, I'm hoping they will come back up but after reading the external analysis from Elementus it seems unlikely.

I realize only now that for over a month I had no confirmations for incoming transactions from staking. More than 60 transactions, and I am still in this situation. Help me please.
On which wallet version do you are?

2.6.0 and I'm downloading 2.7.0
It depends on it?

Today BarterDEX tested our CLTV to make sure atomic swaps are possible then added us to their platform.
Do not expect any volume but it demonstrates that our first soft forks have enabled and work.As far as we can tell to access BarterDEX you need Node and NPM, download the BarterDEX source, run npm install and npm start to fire up the client.
It will become easier for people who are not technically proficient to do this later if XBC electrum X servers come online. Some exciting new developments will now be possible after our latest upgrade.Developments that would not have been doable without it.
Given the recent developments at Cryptopia, it presents a real opportunity for the community to put to the test this decentralized exchange.

Is it possible to use it right now, and what are the steps needed for non-technical users to start using it in a straightforward manner?

Bitcoin Plus has been the first alternative to BTC with the Bitcoin name, and has existed before all the recent forks of BTC: Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin SV, etc...

All those surrogate brands inundating the market since 2017 have not done good to Bitcoin Plus, but XBC has existed for many years prior to all of them.

Its proof of stake system is unique in that the staking % per year is fixed at 20%, irrespective of the cumulative time the wallet has been online or not.  The staking weight of each address increases with time, even if the wallet is offline. A rare quality in the cryptocurrency space, this has proved to be a convenient and energy-saving feature.

Many wallets are not staking.  Examples include cold storage addresses at exchanges (mainly), third-party service wallets like Coinomi, etc...  Because of that, the addresses that are staking beat the inflation of the circulating supply, which we can guess must be around 15 % or slightly less.

Hey devs, forgot to mention.

Maybe you could also re-apply to bittrex for listing xbc - https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=114093958872

You may also try to add XBC on bisq. Its a decentralized exchange and thus no fees associated. - https://docs.bisq.network/exchange/howto/list-asset.html

Shapeshift is one more option (its a decentralized exchange with no listing fees) - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd5-OJ3spJQnGanehD7cdZtzCdWFxNidNP6mWgKqfhEOri4AQ/viewform

With Cryptopia now being gone, we only have one option. We need to add more exchanges Dev. This is extremely important to keep the coin alive.
I remember this exact same thing happened to dnotes in 2017 after they got delisted from Poloniex. But dnotes immediately got them listed on Mercatox and Stex (known as stocks.exchange at that time). I know that the exchanges fees usually goes from the devs pocket and I can understand that. You can try crowdfunding to make this happen and hopefully the loyal community members will help you to achieve this. Here are few exchanges along with their fees:

1. Crex24 (0.25 btc) - I've tried this exchange and it does have low volume. However I can tell that they aren't faking their volume and it by considering all the features, design etc, their volume will only get better with time.

2. Graviex (0.5 btc)

3. Coinroom (1 btc)

4. Stex (1.3 btc for BTC, ETH and LTC markets or 1.1 btc for only BTC and ETH market) - This exchange has been gaining a lot of popularity for the last 5 months or so. Since they've rebranded to Stex, their volume has also been rising.

5. Mercatox (1.4 btc) As I previously mentioned about dnotes, 90% of their daily volume is coming from mercatox which is around 70-80K usd.

6. Latoken (2 BTC) - New exchange with high volume (obviously high percentage of this volume is fake) but this exchange has been doing great for few months.

Even if we only add Crex24 for now which is 0.25 btc and hopefully mercatox and stex after few months, we should be good.

Hi people.

I think, there is one good thing for coin growth and progress. I use IOS APP called as CoinStats, there is all of my coins. Othere app's not include all of my coins, but CoinStats include it and many others.
https://coinstats.app

There is one good feature inside in portfolio in each coin: TEAM UPDATES
You can find how to draw here team updates. I think it will be good step for coin growth.

Looks like SegWit and CSV may well activate on Christmas day.Peter has added the ElectrumX nodes to BarterDEX and tested, seems to work well.

He has now created a pull request for BarterDEX to add those nodes to their system. This makes using XBC on BarterDEX straightforward as no local client needs to be setup.

This is good news and makes XBC top coin with the best but will there be the smart contract spoken of earlier in the works?

Yes after SegWit and CSV activates that can be worked on along with many other ideas that weren't previously possible.
