It is actualy very unfortunate that steps like one above are neccessary - network is weak as shit - while at the same time you guys already started pumping XBC price like crazy. If
network dies the only thing you could do is dump those coins at exchange where you have them, you would not be able to withdraw them to other exchange or anywhere else. Even
if you don't feel like withdrawing your coins to local wallet for staking it would help if you run local wallet at all times, network traffic and computer resources required are very low.

I'm working on new logo, draft will be posted here probably later today.

Been nice gobbling XBC last few weeks 

With BTC crash and folks back from holidays, lets make the winter as fun as spring was with XBC dramas. Get that dirty cash into something shiny and new .. and with a PLUS .. 

See......this is why I stuck in....through thick and thin.  The kingdom of XBC has just begun.  Wait till I release my vinyl only purchased through XBC promoted like hell on Poloniex(BEEF antics will burst out like a phoenix again on Poloniex....so will XBC cheering).  XBC just went up again on POLO.......diggin it.

Great job there! I have moved wallet stuff to 4th and 5th positions (column E), those two objectives are hard ones and would require a new logo created first. Website update is
also much less work than wallet stuff but requires a new logo. Time for me to fire up Inkscape - if anyone has some idea for XBC logo now is good time to post it even if it is still
in pure text (thought?) format. I'll stick with colors BEEF suggested but feel free to complain on them.

OK well then, when I get the quote I'll let ya know what it is at least.   Just so we can get a ball park figure. If we move on it cool if not....then at least we'll know for the future.   I just think a promo video will be cool to get some people interested and maybe jump on to help us develop it more..........maybe a recruitment ad hahah? Maybe the ad could also say were looking for others to join the team at the end of it.....it is decentralized and That's how its supposed to work anyways. Why not?

Are you sure XBC needs video at this moment? I don't see much can be told about XBC right now and it does not make sense to me to put money into video that will at best get
few thousand views and then surely be replaced by new video which will then surely be replaced by new video and so on. On top of it all, we don't even have a design template
for XBC yet! If we agree on using "black n white with Red orbitron lettering" it still remains unclear what logo should be used, no? No one yet proposed any new logo, I have some
ideas but there is a ton other stuff that should be done before XBC graphical redesign - even once redesign is done we'll still need someone to at least update XBC wallet graphics
if not the code as well, it makes no sense to have one design at website and elsewhere and old design at wallet.

While waiting for developer to contact me back, I've put some time into negotiations with https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/announce-rpc-ace-a-simple-cut-down-block-explorer-alternative-686177 on blockchain explorer matters. The
one XBC has now is either not working or it is working but is stuck at block 112,775. Blockchain explorer creator already agreed on setting it up to work with XBC but it is not yet
decided where to host all that.

We should start working on roadmap for XBC, certain things should be done before some other things will eventualy be done and it is neccessary to get agreement on timeline.

Yeah don't worry, I want all of this to be classy.  I gave props to the stealthcoin guy on his hilarity aspect of the ad because so much of the coin promos are so geeky and boring.   It was good to see a change in that department.

Yep, the cms behind the site is legit.  Template sites are easy to manage and they're cheap.  I'd rather spend my time and money on other things like a really nice wallet.  I think XBC's image was ruined by the previous "teams".  Let's be honest, we inherited a disaster that needs some TLC...  I do agree with you though, the ads will be removed soon.  Glad to see that people are still keeping an eye out for XBC.  We need different perspectives to make sure that all points are considered.

About a video ad...  Coinerz's video had the old website URL anyway... There are companies on the web that offer things like video templates where you insert the message and logo and the rest is done for you.  Just an option in case all else fails.  Strata will hopefully have good news about a dev soon, a video will come in handy if we start a fundraiser for the wallet project.

If any of you want anything added to the site (wallet howto's, tech links, tech videos, funny videos, anything...) let me know and I'll add it.

Also, I need a history of XBC written up for the about us page if anyone is willing to help.  I'll recognize you on the blog and put up your xbc address for the community to donate to you for your efforts.


Sex sells, but it's a fine line. It can be sexy, but I would be careful with it to make sure it's marketable to the general population.  We don't want to limit our potential community to just older men... Know what I mean?

No Oldnoob, you're right and everybody will be proved wrong.  Mindfox knows what he's doing and look at XMR.........already problems and backdoors being questioned on the cryptonote technology.  I started laughing when I saw the reddit postings this morning hahaha.  We'll stay with what actually works........and build upon that. XBC is king.

Why is it, every time I look into other altcoins, with super high tech stuff and bigger community and marketcap, I only can think XBC is the only altcoin that does matter?

12+ hours burned just today to keep up with others' projects on this forum alone, at sections of forum which you - of course - never ever browsed or posted at. If you do that
you might realise how much time, effort and money it takes to build even a minor application or modify existing ones. If you somehow get a grasp of that, start working on long
term roadmap for XBC, let's say 2 years from now and then let us know what you came up with. Ohh and before all that make sure you are expert on most of cryptocoin matters
else you will surely come up with some impossible, unneccessary or irrelevant shits. Cya in 2016.
