No product for 2.5 years + no exchange = dead.

But I am curious about whose names will be on the patent, if it is real. It will have no use at all since running a node needs permission by the ltd from the seychelles, but nevertheless the names are going to be interesting and some people might be surprised.

https://waves.xtrabytes.global - 1 exchange

Zoltan Szabo will be the name on the patents

The rest of what you wrote is just total garbage that makes no sense, so I won't bother to respond.

As for 2.5 years with no product - your beloved Cardano spent 3 years just doing R&D without a single line of code.

Wow. 1 whole exchange - which ANYONE can get on. Anyone can, quite literally, get their coin listed on Waves in a matter of minutes.

Cardano is completely irrelevant to the topic at-hand and is a whataboutism. In case you haven’t checked the title of this thread, it’s titled, ‘Xtrabytes Speculation’. We’re not talking about Cardano. You seem to have a real issue staying on topic and/or addressing entire posts/the main points of others’ posts. The status of Cardano and any crypto other than Xtrabytes is completely irrelevant to this thread, as this thread is about Xtrabytes. If you’d like the discuss Cardano or any other crypto, you’re welcome to create your own thread about that coin.

Now that that is clear, can you explain how what Sabih wrote is “garbage”? Node holders will need to register and go through KYC in order to be granted permission to run a node. That is true, as stated by the team. The team is incorporated in the offshore tax haven, Seychelles, which has been labeled as ‘non-compliant’ by international government agencies. That is true.

Where is this “garbage” you speak of?

Well he said "no exchanges" when we are on 1, so he wasn't correct was he. Whether anyone can get on it or not has no relevance. Please try to follow the conversation - you seem to have trouble with concentration, maybe its all the tablets you take for your mental health conditions.

Cardano (and indeed other projects) are relevant to the constant mention of "2.5 years with no product" that you keep banging on about. For many of the projects that are trying to do something unique or build something from the ground up 2.5 years is no time at all. As I said Cardano nearly 5 years so far, Radix 7 years etc etc.

Some of the 'anonymous' team are in the video if you follow the link below:

https://blog.xtrabytes.global/xtrabytes/xby-community/xtrabytes-team-meeting-frankfurt-german/

Their alleged first and last names visible on a website is not even remotely similar to providing their legal first, middle, and last names, legal and valid photo ID, address, phone number, email, etc.

Take an award for stupidest FUD attempt and thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Sabih - You are a scammer, so your opinion means absolutely nothing, but since you mentioned coinmarketcap 'delisting' I'll offer a response. Waves hasn't reached sufficient volume yet, so it hasn't shown on coinmarketcap. And, as you know, Coinexchnage shut down last week, which was where 99% of the admittedly small volume was.
There are also about 20 websites similar to cmc, where Xtrabytes is still listed. Whether a project is listed on cmc or not has no bearing on whether a project is alive or dead.

Cameron

You seriously expect them to put "legal first, middle, and last names, legal and valid photo ID, address, phone number, email" on a team page?

What project team does that. NONE. It's ridiculous that you would even suggest this.

As for replying to the other points, I've no idea why the team didn't go for a provisional patent. In hindsight it would have been a good idea. But I suspect if they had got just a provisional patent, you would have said something along the lines off "It's just a provisional patent - they are only $200 it means nothing".

This Cameron Sabih guy is a known clown Smiley Don't pay too much attention.

At no point did I say - explicitly or otherwise, for the team to put their personal information on the website. What I very clearly stated was that that information is required by large exchanges during their KYC process for projects to have their coin listed on the exchange and that the Xtrabytes team will not ever actually apply to large exchanges because they do not want to give up their personal information to anyone whatsoever.

Also, don’t put words in my mouth or assume you know what I would say in any situation. If they had gotten a provisional patent, it would at least somewhat prove that they actually have a product and in some form that has been deemed unique and new. So, my attitude would NOT be what you claim. It would be the complete opposite. Now, if they were to then not file for a full patent within the allotted time period, then my attitude would be more or less what it is now, but dependent on a number of factors, it would likely not be as harsh as it is now and I would not be as adamant about exposing the scam for what it is.

I am unsure why you think Sabih and I are the same person. It’s quite obvious we are not, and considering the fact that the Xtrabytes team, as well as the self-proclaimed ‘non-team member’ doucie1, has doxxed us both, you know full well we are not the same person. Quite funny that the Xtrabytes team, which was proven by Reddit mods to be using numerous alternate accounts to engage in vote manipulation, is claiming others to be using alts. BTW, it was also determined by Reddit mods that we - Sabih, me, citi0zen, swaggalikemoi, fallenkeith, casualnewbie - are all different people, despite yours and the team’s numerous claims that we are the same person. So, if anyone here is a clown, as well as liars, it’s the Xtrabytes team.

Sure, but your blockchain claimed to be decentralized though running a node needs KYC with a ltd company on the seychelles is serious business...

Centralized scam and delisted from CMC.

As usual, you don’t actually address the entire post. You take one snippet of it and try to make it look like what someone said isn’t factual or accurate, by being sarcastic and posting ‘sources’ to ‘prove them wrong’ or ‘prove’ it to others. The reason you do this is quite obvious - you think that by doing this, you discredit the entire post.

But you don’t. And it doesn’t. Why don’t you go ahead and refute my entire post, or anyone else’s entire post?

Not even George is using his real name on this and the people for not even know. When even he is using a fake name, how to trust anyone or even anything?

Dunno, my main interest was the patents rather then who or what the people in this project are. I'm invested in alot of projects with anon people so I don't mind anonymity, but the main issue is that considering that it's been 23 months and both the tech and new exchanges rely on patents, then there's really no point in investing in this. Even the cartoon avatars was fine imho if they could demonstrate the technology with a working product, but "telling people its good, without showing its good" isn't a good way to run a project.

Ironically if they had gotten patents anytime in the last 22-23 months then they could have gotten on exchanges like Bittrex or Kucoin (assuming that those exchanges would be keen on accepting the project), but now I consider this project to be as dead as Junkcoin or Electrowatt (another waves based token) *shrugs*

In reality, if they were serious and had anything of substance or value, and wanted this project to move forward and progress, they would have/could have already gotten [a] patent/patents - provisional patents, that is. Low cost, only minimal abstract description(s)/explanation(s) needed, and nothing that could potentially result in your invention or idea being stolen - just a general overview of the item is needed, it grants patent-pending status, allots one full year to continue working on your real application, and costs ~$200 TOPS. It’s generally $100 a some change. If they were as close to finished with the applications as they’ve lead on and they really had something revolutionary, then going this route is a no-brainer.

Also, regarding getting on larger exchanges - it’s not going to happen. The reason it won’t happen is because big exchanges like Bittrex and Binance require a full and extensive KYC process in order to get listed. This is why they’ve never actually tried to get on larger exchanges. Plain and simple. This is why Xtrabytes is always on small, shitty, scam exchanges. Cryptopia was the biggest, ‘most legit’ exchange they were on. Cryptopia was also probably the largest exchange that DIDN’T require KYC from project owners.

Funny that the team who wants to be anonymous and who won’t go through KYC is requiring KYC from node holders.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/junkcoin/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/

Soon Xtrabytes will be updated on CMC to show a page similar to Junkcoin due to the fact that it doesn't have any CEXs (also known as a "dead project page" on CMC). It's why i'm happy that I sold the majority of my Xtrabytes at 5k and kept some just incase for the future. It's sad what happened to cryptopia, but it was inept decisions that truly doomed this project (and MLM tactics)

P.S : Whatever happened to Mappy in this project?

Edit to clarify : When a project gets a "dead project page" it loses its rank in CMC (i.e there's no rank for junkcoin but XBY still has a rank), once that happens no one will be able to search for it on CMC. It is very important to get patents before that happens or once its delisted from CMC, this project will lose visibility.

Here's some other projects that interested me in the past that were delisted from CMC (won't show up in ranking and can't be searched, ill post search results for it to to demonstrate)

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/alphabitcoinfund/
Search Result : https://coinmarketcap.com/search/?q=alphabit

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nullex/
Search Result : https://coinmarketcap.com/search/?q=nullex

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/boomcoin/
Search Result : https://coinmarketcap.com/search/?q=boomcoin

This is why its important for the patents and to get on a CEX that isn't Waves, or this project will be delisted soon
