Xtrabytes lost a lot of the gains it achieved the past week or two. So many people have held so many of these tokens for so long it's no wonder they're selling so many right now.

People panic because of the general negative situation in the market of crypto-currency. And why they make such decisions I do not understand. It is a coin that it is reasonable to keep for several years.

I agree with you. Serious projects can not fully develop over the course of one year. In order for the coin to reach its peak, you need to wait a few months or even years. I am sure that the project will develop

Sorry for posting it a bit late, but here it is:

Quote

borzalom (the lead developer of XTRABYTES) [5:08 PM]
I wrote these short announcements because i want again to declare the founders always will be partners and many changes will be coming.

The XBY project will succeed because development never stops. Maybe will be slower if i get less contribution but it never stops.

Before we share the decisions with the community, we always make long discusions with Dave (CCR). CCR never make decisions without my approval. The XFUEL is my idea but CCR also accepted this decision, because we are partners. After the tx fees halved and the number of transactions also decreased, we required a solution to fix the funding problems.

The XFUEL release also forced us to restructure the community and the board. We have chosen to be like a big corporation structures. The board members and other helpers who support the XBY project need income for their works. The board will play management role, not decision role and corporate heirarchy will consist of selected board members and new people who are good for the XBY project.

I hope everyone understands this decision and why it is good and will be supported. If we have funding money (XFUEL) then i know we will get more contribution and the development and community building will be faster and we will reach the goals faster.

If you have questions then just ask me and i will answer the questions in the next 777 with Borzalom. The goal of all members and owners of XBY community is same, the more valuable and better XBY.

PS: You can find some more info and the most recent 777 with Borzalom on official XTRABYTES Youtube channel.

And then the hype seems overkill... I mean, smart contracts? Seriously, we're all tired of smart contracts touted as cool. They're so basic now.

These platform and smartcontracts will allow to program connected and communicating apps and contracts in any programming language you want to. This will unleash the power of blockchain without any restriction to the devices you want to use.
Is this basic... ?

Anyone know any backgrounds on either of their developers/programmers?

The main developer borzalom is a security specialist who has been coding since the 80's writing his own OS as a teenager and stuff like that..
XBY is not only smart contracts it can practically do anything and it is lightning fast. You can send XBY or XFUEL in a second from one wallet to another. I advice you to read into this because XBY will be worth much more in the future  Wink

Heh, ordinarily I'd agree but it's an over-used meme. Point taken, though, a lot of impressive things planned in the XtraBYtes roadmap but for me, this is all unproven. I like roadmaps that are clear. This one is very detailed but if you look at it, there doesn't seem to be much logic tied in to the different components.

Yeah lots of news in the Slack and about to be a lot of articles put out on all the major Crypto news sites about the tech and what it can actually do. It's going to make a lot of the top coins tech look old and slow by comparison. Massively undervalued should have a Mcap of $80 million just on speculation alone from the tech.

They also issued a hacking challenge with a hefty reward for anyone that can crack their security algorithms so they are obviously very confident with what they have.

Well... nice move today. +57% at the moment and therefore against the trend at the market. I am not surprised, because XtraBytes is a very promising project for me, but are there any news around the platform which justify this strong rise?

The graph looks pumped as fuck, but of course, one year from now it may be nothing but a small bump in the road.

The problem is, its total supply is 650,000,000 coins. This means we need a $650,000,000 marketcap, which means the coin needs to be a top10 coin... do you really think this coin can take out some of the top10 coins?
Why does it need $650,000,000 market cap?

Cause then its marketcap will equal its total supply, which means that 1$ would cost 1XBY.
The price can still be different though... It doesn't have to be $650m market cap to be $1.

That's how you get market cap, you multiply the price by the number of coins available. LEL.
Oh god... that's embarrassing. I just had a moment of realisation where I was being retarded Roll Eyes.

I don't understand that either. First it costs $0.035664 right now, not $1 and second the price can change in the future. So why the market cap should be exactly $650,000,000?

I don't know whether XtraBYtes has a big potential in the future, but I must admit it was a good rising from 270 sats one week ago to 1.5k sats now.

I just said that it needs 650 mil market cap to reach 1$ per coin. What's not to understand ?

In a year from now, maybe 650 million will only be top 50 coins, given the rate of growth of the whole cryptoland market cap Smiley

Wow so scam make it through to legitmate project. I just don't know why so much influx of capital goes there. I understand static nodes, and that distrubution is capped because of it, but still it's really very intrigue, that project isn't so far ahead, they got good plans, but from plan to realization is long way. I just want to know, how this came to 1500 satoshi with such huge, total supply. Almost like ICO pump Cheesy.
