Has anyone had a chance to upgrade and get 0.1.6c running? We want to ensure we aren't seeing the syncing and other issues people were noting in the previous version.

It was running well for us in tests (I ran nodes for 2 days with no issues), but it seems like we see the issues creep up once everyone on different platforms and systems starts running their nodes so any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Why the such high withdrawal fee for XCR on bter(1%)?

This question has been asked and answered three times already.........BY ME.  Dont you guys read the previous posts???

ANYWAY..... the 1% fee is the escrow fee that BTER charges for hosting the IPO/pre-sale.  Bter chose to deduct it from the XCR withdrawals as they occur, instead of taking 1% of the genesis block.  SO....... whoever withdraws XCR from Bter, pays the 1% fee.

Figure this in when you purchase from another investor.

I would rather have taken a 1 time 1% hit on my genesis XCR than a 1% lifetime tax on all my holdings.

Why db file is so huge?  Huh
More than 100Mb for some months and very little transacrions.  Sad
NXT db now is less than 500Mb   Cool

How much time has NXT had to optimize their code? How much time have we had?

If i remember correct, at the same time NXT db was much less than Crypti, so your argument is not valid.  Tongue

Crypti is not Nxt, we have different PoS, code, technology. It can take disk space, but we working to reduce it.

Give us time. We continue to work on reducing the db size every iteration and have some ideas for a long term solution.

I have a question regarding the Transaction fee's and the whitepaper,

why is the crypti transaction fee based on cumulative network volume, and not on network volume/amount of blocks?
If the ultimate goal is to stablilize network revenue by decrasing the fee on increased network volume, wouldnt a volume number weighted with teh amount of blocks be a better representation of the reality? the way the system is right now, the transactions fee's just keep going down and down.

Is there any chance we will be able to pull 0.1.6c through Boot2Docker or will we go straight to the Windows client?

We will not support Boot2Docker.
We had meeting in Russia, last few days was very busy, SyRenity will release Windows client soon.

Great work SyRenity, though would it be possible to give us some info as to what caused the errors we saw in 0.16b?

We changed database structure, we fixed some bugs in fork processing, we changed work with database.

Yeah! I hate ShroomsKit!
NODE Coin, which used to be NXT-lite, will have their IPO on Bter tomorrow.  So prepare for a dump of XCR and other coins on Bter to fund the IPO.

I suggest setting your buy prices now.

Actually, tomorrow will be enabled trading of NODE, which was distributed early.

Correct, and price is already extremely high when compared to IPO price so expect dumps, not pumps.

Extremely high? Nope, it's extremely low, just doubled. Wink Through it may sink temporary.

Most of people there got their stake by paying 0.035 or even nothing. Now, it is almost 50x gain for them...

so yes, expect dumps, massive ones.

NODE is surely not worth 4,000+ BTC but as always most people are clueless so yes, there will be many bagholders. Can't wait to see their stupidity unleashed at Bter.  Grin

Oh, you are talking about NODE. I don't know anything about it, because the OP is looking extremely amateurish.

Crypti on Coin Ticker

Please vote in the app for the iPhone for Crypti (XCR)! This will be super, as I (and many others) organize their holdings in that app. Thank you very much! Smiley
