Well... dont salvagewallet done everything i could find... this all started with a transaction sent my mistake with 0 fee.. after some days... i done a -zapwallettxes and resent it... but it simple didnt confirm. i think the nodes consider it  a double spending.... and didnt process it... today i tried "once" more.. and a big part of my xct finally got confirmed... after at least 10 salvage wallets Smiley thanks for the help, i think i just need to wait for the mempools t clear out sor something:)

I've already accidentally sent some XCT to
the Bitcoin network. Had to retrieve them
with the private key and a Bitcoin wallet.

You can do it with the following method :

In the Windows XCT wallet, go to :

HELP
DEBUG WINDOW
CONSOLE
Bottom of the page to the Command Line
type in the Command line the following :

dumpprivkey"space""XCT target address"

where "space" is a space and "target address"
is the XCT address that you accidentally sent
your coins to the Bitcoin network using or the
private keys of the XCT address you want.

The resulting PRIVATE KEY is used to unlock
the bitcoin address on the Bitcoin network and
recover the coins so that you can send the coins
back to a BTC wallet address under your control.

Amazing, being able to dump a private key of a public key you accidentally sent coins to.  Shocked Ground breaking stuff here.

Let me restate what I did. I stated it wrong the
first time. I actually sent BTC to an XCT address.
So the BTC went out over the BTC network thinking
the XCT address was a BTC address. It went to
no-one, but was just sitting there. I had to recover
the private key and go out into the Bitcoin blockchain
and find the address and recover the BTC using the
private key, then send the BTC back to a real BTC
address in my wallet.

yeah not sure how you got those coins stuck but you should be able to get them back with a reindex or salvage.. i dont see that tx on the c-bit blockchain. are you sure you sent them to a c-bit address and not bitcoin? if you accidentally sent them to a bitcoin address you can export the privkey and import into your cbit wallet. which is good.

For you @coisoetal

Nothing can be lost in your wallet, if you are on the right one and on the good chain! I try a payment to myself and all working fine!

I give you this:

Please first create a shortcut of your C-bit.exe
Edit the shortcut property and enter this: cbit-qt.exe -salvagewallet

That solve some error! If not, it's maybe a human error. But nothing can be confirmed with that BIG SHIT BLOCK EXPLORER!

can anyone check this transaction? :/ 5a95f6f3c77c1876f836e327fa9a17bde0995fec64d8d803a31a7308248eeff4-000 all my coins stuck :/

I checked the block explorer just because and that transaction isn't even showing up/recognized.

Maybe try installing the wallet on another computer and import your current wallet? I'm not sure that the coins were ever really sent from the wallet.

did that...

i had this problem for days... i did -zapwallettxes ... ... nothing works.. coins dont move :/

Did I miss something here?  Not really getting any related hits from those contributor names on the website and non are following official twitter etc.  Where can I find info on those involved?

I'll talk to the website developer. The e-mail
system is new, and we don't seem to be
getting any e-mail to any of us. We just
thought nobody cared. Normally, it should
be going into a central pool, where we then
route it to the concerned individual. Obviously,
something is going wrong. E-mail that is
actually addressed to the individuals at their
respective individual e-mail addresses is
arriving, it's just the e-mail arriving to the
general site that doesn't seem to be going
right.

William Martens
Founder C-bit

Just tested what you did and see exactly
what you're talking about. The e-mails are
disappearing. We don't know that we are
receiving e-mails. Sorry. I have notified the
Web developer of the problem.

William Martens
Founder C-bit

I think he is looking for info on the backround/dox of the devs/team.

Its my understanding the ones involved are pretty Anon, maybe at some point more info will come out.

Dox? Anon? There is a list of names on the website.
