Well I guess it depends on what we mean by "hard link", and what the dev was trying to test.But for the sake of 100 XC...i think they should make peace...and maybe say..."that's not quite what i was looking for but...hey...here is 200 XC, and thanks."

I don't think so. I hope he doesn't have to. I'd prefer he worked on XC.If the issues Chaeplin raised will be dealt with via multipath, then the dev might as well put his energy into that.
I'd prefer that the dev didn't watch the price (as we all do haha) but worked on the project.
