Anybody can explain why is still problem to synchronize
Code:
2016-Nov-20 13:57:13.667110 [P2P3][163.172.10.45:18080 OUT] SYNCHRONIZED OK
2016-Nov-20 13:57:13.667307 [P2P3]
**********************************************************************
You are now synchronized with the network. You may now start monero-wallet-cli.

Please note, that the blockchain will be saved only after you quit the daemon with "exit" command or if you use "save" command.
Otherwise, you will possibly need to synchronize the blockchain again.

Use "help" command to see the list of available commands.
**********************************************************************
2016-Nov-20 13:57:55.778067 [P2P4][37.182.53.66:18080 OUT]Sync data returned unknown top block: 1183897 -> 92465 [1091432 blocks (878 days) ahead]
SYNCHRONIZATION started
and what does it above mean

Your node is fine. Another node has an unknown top block.

Have monera an equitable wallet?

I downloaded on the monera site the linux archive and there are 4 files without readme or install.sh.
Why not making an app/deb package?

You don't need a *.deb package.
Just unzip the folder in your home and run ./monerod to start synching with the network.
Creating a wallet is easy, just type ./monero-wallet-cli and the rest is selfexplaining.

Hope that was on the point and gave you some help  Grin

Why download in zipfolder, if i have to compile from git?

If monero goes this ignorant way, then dig monero his own grave

You need to be more clear. What did you download exactly?

I'm saying you can download the current binaries in a zip/folder and run the old non-gui wallet, called monero-wallet-cli(.exe) or you can download latest monero-core and monero from github to compile all from source to use the official, unreleased GUI wallet. There are plenty of wallets, what is the issue again?

Does that make more sense? Thanks

Is mymonero.com webwallet anonymous?

Not nearly as much as running your own node (over tor).

Interesting, I googled it. Is this still current?

Thanks

You need to compile if from source right now for the GUI to work, otherwise wait for the wallet GUI binaries when they get released.  I don't think a package is needed as it's just some binaries in a folder. Tongue

Yeah gui iz alright and works smooth as butter, I can confirm. Another thing is I have been on the fence with this ever-lasting implementation since the beginning. Quick reality check shows the community itself fucked up its own wallet and is now getting wound up for a standalone wallet that may have been priced in already. It needs to come to realization what the angle here may be. Two wallets, standalone and official one, get presented while btc is soaring about 900 usd.

1. 900 usd is not soaring to me , and 2. I know for a fact bitcoin will not touch 800 usd this year on any American exchange.

That made me laugh out loud.

Anyone who tries to, or wants to, compare Monero with Zcoin should be directed to listen to this. I listened whilst running through a forest here in England at night by headlamp, which was slightly surreal!

Gary Le either has great difficulty staying on topic; or has a terrible memory such that he can't remember the questions specifically raised by Riccardo; or he doesn't understand the superior anonymity of Monero; or he knows that Zcoin is flawed and is trying to filibuster his way out of having to concede as such. I think the latter.

Looking forward to round 2, once Gary has read the Zerocash white paper!  In fact, he coud just read this part of the abstract which admits to Zcoin's failings:

"Zerocoin (Miers et al., IEEE S&P 2013) tackles some of these privacy issues by unlinking transactions from the payment’s origin. Yet it still reveals payment destinations and amounts, and is limited in functionality."

Great work here from Riccardo, who shows admirable patience with Gary Le's tangental incoherency.
