What I wonder is what will be average daily volume during next month? Any guesses? Inm last 30 days before yesterday daily average was 550 BTC.  Now yesterday demolished all past and new relations will need to emerge.

Poloniex xmrbtc  24hr:  44k BTC  6 million XMR.   Shocked

Its crazy that the price is still rising, even though poloniex deposit and withdrawal was paused.  Cheesy

I can't believe you are not holding Monero!

Still at least you have a roof over your head Cheesy

Yeah, shit happens, but the house is still promising. We are starting a community there and Daniel Raissar is coming. Life goes on.

I'd be interested in your thoughts about XAG - it seems to have taken a life of its own recently. How long do you think the recent correction will continue?

Um no idea. Historically XAG is quite cheap so I'd invest a small % of portfolio as a hedge with appreciation potential. But it is no more a lynchpin of the global economy, ever since crypto was invented.

I invested in XAG after the Brexit vote and took advantage of some steep rises as well as some crypto like volatility.
I did get caught out by the recent correction although think it is still a good investment over 6 to 18 months.  There seems to have been a lot of new technological and industrial utilisations which I think will add to its intrinsic value.

I try to collect all the Pandas that are available when they come out. I think the current year's Panda might gain some kind of special premium because it is the first time AFAIK when the Panda is 30 grams instead of 31.1 grams.
Lunars are priced ridiculously (unless you will not buy the current year 0.5 oz). Usually the halvers are doing better than the whole ounce.

A lot of commits from the Dev on the official GUI this past 24 hours. As far as I can see there are no outstanding issues.

I would speculate we're almost there.

the number of large owners are decreasing and the coin gets more diversified at this point

What evidence do you have?

Early weak hands? Inmho, Monero has (had) the strongest bagholders ever met in the world

Selling at 4-5 usd = early weak hands.

Strong hands: My coins are not for sale, sorry.

I have not sold any Moneros. For me Monero is a hit or a miss.
I am almost bullish on Monero since it is quite close to ATH..

It is very good for Monero's price development in the future that the number of large owners are decreasing and the coin gets more diversified at this point. The important thing for the rest of the bagholders is to give liquidity to the dumpers and let the early weak hands get shaken first.  Kiss

I am counting heavily on the future demand.

I think Monero should equal to 1 oz gold, and further in the future to 100 gram of gold.
Bear in mind, if there are 20 million junkies looking for 1 XMR it will take terribly long time until they can have 1 simultaneously.

So I need
the tx key of your own (my) transaction, the receiving address, and the transaction hash.
I'm using mymonero.com  I can retrieve my spend key there.  Is that what you mean by "tx key"?
Mymonero.com also shows a transaction ID.  Is that what you meant by "transaction hash"?

Do not put your spend key on that tool! The private tx key is denoted as r in the CryptoNote whitepaper and allows you to prove that you send a payment to a certain address. Unfortunately, MyMonero currently has no option to retrieve the private tx key. Thus, you would have to use simplewallet to retrieve the private tx key.

The transaction ID is indeed the transaction hash.

Is there any news why XMR is going very high? This has come as a surprise for me because I have missed it in the news. Maybe this is a pump and dump?

Classic pump and dump, if you got in train just keep the waves, if you had not, beware monero is atm at his peak and be sure of trading to jump out quickly

Also monero mining is long dead, they killed the block reward so beware, like any others coins that kill POW to fast for personal P/D

Congrats on the most misinformed and willfully ignorant post I've read for a long time.
