yes, polo by far the most important exchange for xmr... this is considered as a bit of a liability and not decentralised... I hope other (big) exchanges will accept monero in the future when it is more userfriendly and multisig is implemented... trading xmr will then have a more robust basis.

if you want the dollar chart, you can do like this:
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=POLONIEX%3AXMRBTC*COINBASE%3ABTCUSD

in Euro it's even more fun (and with brexit will only get more fun I believe :-)):
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=POLONIEX%3AXMRBTC*COINBASE%3ABTCEUR

I believe (and please don't take this as trading advice) that 'cryptocurrencies' are starting a massive bull market with the world now entering a period of serious (monetary) turmoil... 99% of crypto's are bullshit though, you should read op on XMR, get to know it and then decide if you think it's worthy of an investment! I myself think it's very worthy and it could become one of the major altcoins, but I'm just a random dude with some spare fiatmoney, so please, do your own due diligence!

best regards,

Buy low sell high. That's the way to make money with Monero.

That is not only true about Monero. It is true about any market. Many people however do one of the following:

1) Buy high, hoping to sell higher, and sell low.

... and my favorite when it comes to Monero

2) Sell low, hoping to buy lower, and buy high.

I am pretty scared now and so should you.

Scared about what? There is no need to fear.  Wink

The price agains btc is dropping now.
I am scared of the fact that my holdings might increase. Wink

Another long bear market 'til September?  Suits me fine. Wink

3 months doesn't seem long to me  and I don't know about bear, but.....

3 months  Cool

Disclaimer: I am clueless  Tongue

ION; price is getting tempting for me.  Not as entry as I would have to have exited, but as more.

I have diversified by buying btc recently, starting with a bunch in the low 400s and continuing till now.  I have some btc earmarked for Monero from another source.

I am also fine with both bull and bear markets.
I do not have any margin positions but I am lending both btc and XMR and waiting an opportunity wether to increase the number of btc by selling XMR or increasing the amount of XMR buy selling btc.  Cheesy

What was XMR ATH in USD?

It was high i bought mine xmr about 2 years ago at $1.5 and was far from ATH. Most that bought 2 years ago bought for more then that.  So you can see how cheap was Monero Last year when was only $0.25.

Either true cryptonaire is failing in his attempt to get cheap monero, or this pump is him buying back in.

My Monero holdings has increased a little bit during past few days. I am planning to accumulate more Moneros also if I find the price appropriate to me. I do not need those Moneros but I want to support the price on my behalf.

Me too, I profited by dumping some into that 260k wall and plan to buy back in the 230s over the next few days.  Maybe the same person that bought them at 260 will panic sell them back to me.

I have learned that someone else's FOMO is just an opportunity to gain more Monero by selling to them and buying back on the next dip.   Just never sell enough that you would feel sad if it rocketed up!

Supporting Monero with buy orders 5% below the price tends to be profitable at catching dumps.

You are smart man.
FOMO is the best tool to make money but it hurts your emotions when you sell when others are pumping.

Personally I want dump now.
I have set a buy order which I am expecting to get filled once XMR breaks 0.002 next time.
If I am not going to get my dump, I can survive with my current holdings as well, but some more coins are always to have (right now I cannot afford to pay these prices for Moneros).

Is that why you're necro-posting on anti-monero threads?

I am working hard to selling the idea of dumping Moneros to my bid(s). Currently one bid but I can put more also.
Looks like so far I have not succeeded to convince others to sell, perhaps it is due to low level of agreesiviness.
Actually the chart is almost copy/paste from 1 year ago.

Lol, never change TC.  I actually think you got caught out by the latest rise and now you're trying to get back in.

You got me.
That was actually my position, but I just balanced it. The last pump and dump really caught me and took about 25% of the Moneroj I was carefully storing offline last two years. Just some emotional trading and it's gone Smiley

Dynamic Block Size Caps
Riccardo Spagni

What should the long term solution for the Bitcoin blocksize be? Although there is much debate about how to implement it, there isn't much contention over the fact that current static block size cap is not optimal in the long term. An overview of existing proposals, along with a comparison and history of Monero's working dynamic block size.

Smart idea!
