Step 1: Have Monero gain a majority of acceptance in the "Darknetmarkets"
Step 2: Create more infrastructure(Websites, Events, Services,) based around Monero and begin marketing
Step 3: Cement position as #2 Crypto

I think I've said it before, but I don't own any moneroj as of now(I plan to buy back in once everything irl is sorted out), but I sure as hell believe this particular cryptocurrency will succeed.

nutildah, the richest bitcoiners are those who acquired during the bottoms and the tops.

Umm... you mean "sold" at the tops, right? Besides, those aren't the richest bitcoiners. The early adopter miners are. The ones who didn't pay for anything other than electricity to power their PU's.

I would just wait until I was right about something _first_ before I got so fantastically overconfident about it as you have.

I am right though.

Just because the price drops in the short term doesn't mean that Monero doesn't win.  Monero will be one of the top 3 cryptocurrencies in a few years, and maybe the leader of them all.

And you know this.

Just buy, and keep buying.  That is a time tested strategy that no dumper or pumper can defeat.

Dude, are you serious? You clearly ARE the pumper!!!  Cheesy

Just for fun I took a long position at around 210 with a miniscule amount of monero. Woke up this morning to find it liquidated. Fuck margin trading.

Yes, margin trading is for suckers.  If you are a small fish, you will get gobbled like humans on a battlefield with mechs.

If you are a mech (a whale), then margin is the equivalent of you opening up a super weapon and exposing your weak spot.  You may take massive damage for no reason.

So stay away from margin if you are a true believer.  And don't try to time the market.

Just buy, and keep buying.  That is a time tested strategy that no dumper or pumper can defeat.

This is a a very different market now with the advent of margin trading. One has to ask, for example, how much of the recent selling was actually short?

Probably not as much as people would like to believe, we're still in the same retracement channel from 3 weeks ago when I said there's going to be a potential long term buy opportunity in 3 weeks.

I'm fairly certain we're in that range now, because MACD is crossing over.

Gonna go bump my reddit post for spite.

Then celebrate tomorrow when I get to put up a buy order. Hope I didn't miss all the fun.

It's just the whales keeping the price down so they can buy more.

I think that was in the wrong topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1059045.80 Wink

I smell a room filled with Greater Fools.

I smell a wolong alt getting ready for a XMR summer pump

lol how does it feel to have bought monero at 230+ when it hit 167 so far today.  I told you it was coming down.

Pegasus how much money are you down in the last 3 days? The timing of your arrival with this substantial price drop is no coincidence.

I tried to tell you guys Pegasus is bad for Monero.

I will continue to acquire Monero and get excited about it, while you continue to smell like moldy chicken in your little hovel apartment.

Yes, the price is down.  But Monero is still Monero.  Nothing has changed.  If you get all pissy about these little price changes, I can't imagine what *you* (the account holder, not this shitty alt) will do once the real fireworks start next year.

This is the year to slowly build up a position in Monero, at any price.  Don't worry about what you pay.  Just acquire and keep acquiring.  We are very, very early to the party.  An idiot starts wondering what other parties are like.  A smart man finds a good table and gets comfortable.

Sorry if this is off-topic but I'm genuinely concerned for nutildah's well-being. I'm sorry to hear about your situation man.

Perhaps we could all throw in some XMR to help the guy out?

Actually I turned down an offer for free XMR the other day. I would just sell them for BTC immediately, anyway. If you actually want to help, my BTC address is on my profile page. If you're going to pay 8 cents to call me an asshat, well, you can just keep it...

Its better if I don't have too much money, then I'd have to pay back my student loan! Nice research though. I'm delighted that you spent time going through my post history.

lol the trolls are out again.
would call it a black Thursday. buy side completely destroyed, only 124 btc on the books at the moment. still, volume was about right until now. but if the orderbooks stays the same..aiaiai. based on past experience it takes days to restore the buy side if it took a hit like this.
what an unecessary pain. maybe it was necessary...?

but i hodl anyway.

try to catch the price when i buy Cool

There are probably going to be less on both sides because people pulled a lot of coins off Polo, both XMR and BTC. Maybe in some cases they create new accounts and put them back, maybe they don't.

Some of the orders will now be margin/shorts in their place.

So expect greater volatility for both reasons, at least for a while.

Frankly I'm amazed nobody has deleted my comments yet since they aren't in lockstep with the agenda.

Here the deletion is based on being off topic.

Exactly. As long as you are talking about price action, positive or negative, or medium- to long-term prospects for the valuation, and has even some morsel of reasoning ("Monero sucks, Monero is a scam, Monero to the moon, etc." doesn't cut it), it stays.
