Fwiw I think CSW is probably Satoshi. That doesn't mean I like him. But I pay attention to what he says.

And I urge every body to pay attention to him, should he managed to take over BCH. Because he doesn't like altcoins at all, and if he succed in taking over one PoW chain, then Monero could be very well be his next target.

I agree, CSW was involved in the earliest days of bitcoin and ignoring what he says because he comes across like a dickhead is dangerous, like ignoring Trump in 2016 because he was a failed businessman turned reality TV personality. CSW wants to be disliked, probably to make the fuck you sweeter if/when he moves satoshi bitcoin in 2020. He wants to destroy alts like XMR.

So the guy who can't prove he's Satoshi is going to prove who everyone else is? I'm wondering what a psychoanalyst would make of that...

On a practical note, those 3 systems work in very different ways, so wouldn't he need 3 separate mechanisms for analysis? I guess we'll have to wait the year out biting our nails in feverish anticipation for doom's day or purchase whatever is sure to be the "better" solution. Crypto has anhilated my faith in mankind's motives--which isn't a bad thing, just makes me long for my youthful ignorance.

This was my first thought as well. The fact that all three of those privacy projects use very different techniques means a unified solution to uncover them all and also throwing Tor in the mix on top of that seems pretty disingenuous. This is the reason that I think he's actually throwing this out for one of two other reasons.  One... just to make other projects outside of Bitcoin SV look bad or two... he's wanting to depress the price in the so-called privacy sector for some other reason.

I am tempted to say he is just talking out of his ass. But actually I think the guy is a little bit too crafty for just that. I think he and Calvin Aire and possibly even Jihan and Ver are making moves.

XMR is currently in rollercoaster mode.
He talks about networking and IP addresses. As far I know, these 3 systems use networking and IP.

Hello,

A year ago (November 2017) just this week began the rise in the price of XMR. It seems that history can be repeated. What do you think?

Amazingly, I think at least a little bit of Monero's slump today is due to what seems to be a bit of FUD executed by FAKESATOSHI.

https://twitter.com/ProfFaustus/status/1061229656081350656

He also took shots specifically at Monero in his recent interview with Tone Vays.  The interview is *somehwt* interesting as it discusses the upcoming BCHABC BCHSV fork which should be pretty interesting IMO..

But here is the Monero/Privicy coin section.

https://youtu.be/ACEUOCoVvmw?t=3564

The may make or break his reputation in 2019 and 2020 too.

I just hope that he's not involved in MoneroV and other Monero forsk that requires private keys and other info from Monero.

No-one in their right mind would have even for a second believed he was Satoshi.

But as far as your statement I would think Satoshi would be supporting Monero if he/she/they were to suddenly appear.

most CSW=satoshi believers think the satoshi 1M bitcoins are held in trust until 2020, if satoshi bitcoins start moving I doubt he'll be buying XMR

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/craig-wright-refutes-phil-wilsons-bitcoin-origins-satoshi-story/

The guy is just an arrogant scammy wanker. And in any case for Monero: Viel Feind, viel Ehr!

I agree CSW is an arrogant wanker, and we probably have ~18 months to confirm if he's a scammer, (if the satoshi bitcoins don't move in 2020 CSW is lying) and another 4 days to know how much hash he has, so the CSW matter is concluded soon thankfully.

When there was a race between litecoin and monero to cross 100 usd then ltc crossed it first making people believe in ltc.
But when true development and retention comes XMR is king.

Monero is the most elegant self sovereign store of private wealth that I know.

I’ve considered everything from zksnarks to mimblewimble.

I can’t do part, optional, or otherwise compromised privacy.

I can’t do interactive mode.

I can’t do trusted setup.

I love monero. That said I’m scared man. Why don’t people get it.

How is the price so low.

Yall got an hopium man?

Is crypto over?

Honestly I’m still liking this boring period. Allows me to earn some paychecks and buy munderos.

Am I the only one who feels like they are still catching their breath from the last bull run?

Yeah, looks like they are still shaking the tree.

This proves that Craig is not satoshi as Mr Nakamoto would not do such a thing. He would be promoting bitcoin and focus purely on that, why spend a year making something to denounce privacy coins, when he could be working on bitcoin

No-one in their right mind would have even for a second believed he was Satoshi.

But as far as your statement I would think Satoshi would be supporting Monero if he/she/they were to suddenly appear.

It's funny that if you read the email group Satoshi forecasts that bitcoin would be mined by botnets just as Monero is.
You will also notice that Monero fits the criteria he wrote for bitcoin. Smiley

i read somewhere that it's probably some kind of tx and ip tracking tool so basically some kind of mapping ... no clue how he want's to proof anything special on monero though if this would be the case... is he full of shit... probably.

Yeah, that was my guess right off and he can't do it as he doesn't have the nodes but I'm sure a 3 letter could provide that info and I would not put it past him to shill for them.

All such announcements of some attacks are always fake. The announcement is an attack itself.  He will repeat it for few months then everyone will forget about it.

Reminds me of the BCX fud attack of 2014.

Monero continues to move quietly but firmly. Maybe not as much as other projects, but I think it is moving very well. ZEC and XMR are doing solid work.
