This seems to be par for the course in the altcoin community. Does anyone know of any other altcoins that are being developed by serious professionals besides Monero? Random jr members need not reply. Interested in what the regulars think.

One has yet to come to my attention, and meet the other reasonable criteria. You know; decentralized, private, open source, fair distribution, etc. there is always some glaring deficiency.

It is good to have when BTC is tanking as it seems to be less effected and BTC recovers a bit then XMR only falls a portion of that. So lately XMR has held it's value better than BTC. Riding those waves is doable as well but very tricky, I almost missed out by trying to sell to buy back on a dip, fortunately there was one more dip for me. But trying to be a maker against those bots is brutal.
