I'd say those that speculated on the 777 that are regulars here will be pretty spot on.
Bah. I am an exception. I believe I picked the earliest day available. Certainly it has passed. This is a function of my inability to predict price. I don't even try. Trends, yes. Price? Not so much.

Granted it has far more development and feedback thus far, and Apple tends to send steam out of my ears on a good day. Cake looks like it has potential though. Pity I didn't fund my Monerujo beyond it's resident dust before I left home, as I want to spend some. That's what I get for being in a rush. Oh well, maybe I'll get more for my moneroj next week

Having read the logs, I think I'm more in the camp of those who think that we should push BP's as soon as they've been reviewed, rather than wait till Sept HF. I'm not sure why we can't have some flexibility when it comes to the timing of HF's especially with something of this magnitude. It also sucks that a Monero rip-off will have them implemented before we do.
Let them Beta test it with their capital. Weird the higher monero goes the louder holders are getting about pushing it higher. I see dollar signs in alot of eyes here where there used to be altruism.

I don't think one needs to be a "pro" in saying that intelligent forecasts are almost impossible in cryptoland. Mind you, that's always held true, whether the period of time in question is the next few weeks or the last couple of years. The only thing one can pretty well guarantee is fear, uncertainty, doubt, and a whole lot of excitement.

I think there are 5 or 6 different streams to look at as an overall system. All leading to good for Monero.
The emissions falling, famous privacy and security, increasing dark market adoption, upcomming relese map incudes several key features and transaction size reductions, er multi sig, Holding well with BTC pretty much throughout its rise and slight fall back, there is also some adoption here and there with various services and businesses,

Better focus on the coming year, not the coming weeks..

I dont think it will be ready that much ahead. Code freeze should be done in Jully. We will see how much before that all will be done. I dont think that will be measured in months.

Not this time around. It's a shame that a lot of the "big hitters" weren't there - FP, Smooth, Arctic Mine, Moneromooo, or Luigi. Not that the result would necessarily have been any different, but I think it's important to have their public input on the matter.

Bitcoin's future is dependent largely on it's potential as a settlement network for digital credit, while Monero's is much more closely tied to the gross product growth of the digital economy.
This is pretty much my investment thesis as well, but what about Lightning? Wouldn't that also tie Bitcoin to the digital economy's GPG?

Speaking of skepticism Sunday; LN, if even moderately successful, will render the value of the majority of alt projects dubious at best.
How do you see Monero dodging that bullet? nullc said, as he was leaving blockstream, he intended to work on bringing fungibility to BTC.
I personally think XMR has a fairly LAPP resistant niche... but I want to hear others opinions.
