XMR is going to $100 +
I have a question about Bitfinex. As long as I just trade cryptocurrencies I do not need any kind of verification right? They say if I want to deposit or withdraw USD I need a verification. But what if I trade XMR/USD but in the end I withdraw BTC or XMR, is a verification still needed?

There are at least 20,000 XMR on margin right now at Polo. Well, maybe.
I took advantage of the little price surges today to sell a few XMR stuck on Polo and then withdraw the BTC to buy XMR at Kraken and Bitfinex. Both exchanges processed smooth XMR withdrawals.
Kraken requires 6 confirmations for BTC, Bitfinex only needs 3.
XMR withdrawal fee is 0.05 on Kraken, Bitfinex is 0.01.
Based on that I will probably use Bitfinex for quick XMR trades, it is more convenient and cheaper to withdraw.

I knew it, whenever brainless Monero FUD peaks, the price ultimately rises.
I would think that polo limiting (prohibiting) withdrawals would act as price suppressing. The only way you can get your value out is to sell your Monero for something else and then withdraw that...
Hard to say if this is a real effect, I don't know if the exchange rate of money is consistent across exchanges or not. If it is having some kind of effect, I would expect a little pop once they re enable withdrawals - maybe around 0.02-0.022 range.

It feels so good to see some green on us also, with all these shitcoins pumping like there's no tomorrow.
It the hack proves to be real, polo would have to rebuy the lost xmr, right? That would up the price quite a bit I suppose.

Currently BTC is over $2650 so, does anybody have a decent picture as to what the next 2 weeks look like for BTC and Monero? I'm just surprised that Bitcoin keeps climbing even with all of its many issues, while Monero has dropped in volume to practically nothing, in current terms but, has held it's USD value pretty well.

That could only happen after Monero exit the maintenance mode in Polo.
If i remember correctly Polo is the first site that listed Monero and there was even a speculation earlier that they had close ties with the exchange,what i am waiting for is the potential break up from this price and having another rally,is there any new development and news coming up from the developers,just waiting to hear about something new from the team.
It was the second, the first was run by a community member and that one was closed when Polo adopted XMR and the rest is history.
