I have to make a decision today, I need to convert usdt to BTC and get some fiat so what do you guys think btc is gonna do today? I have no clue about it's movement ATM. My crystal ball seems to be broke when I'm getting fiat but whenever I'm broke and can't make a trade it works perfectly and the only ones that profit are those that listen to my posts here. Lol
Really hard to tell anything right now... looks like BTC is 'dipping' a bit but the way things been lately and how surprised I am personally that HoneyBadger's HELD UP over $1K so *strong* (not to mention how the whole scene has just taken this fact in stride? Isn't anyone even a little surprised that $1K is now apparently so solidly The New Normal?)
Honestly if I needed to pay something with FIAT money right now I'd be digging around to sell some un-used shit around the house on eBay or something, or even take out one of those limited-term interest-free 0% bank-card cash advances or "balance transfer" checks RATHER than liquidate ANY crypto right now. Just seems like *everything* is kinda poised for moon at the moment, BTC XMR ETH some few other alts, etc. Everything just *feels* wound up tight as a spring and rarin' to go.
That 6,500 loss at the casino last few weeks has put a hurting on me.
Damn why did I miss the initial spike! :|
Dude... ouch that's steep. Mind if I ask what's your playing stakes & what's your main game, for a downswing variance of that magnitude?
Seriously IF you're gonna take on the casinos you really should at least try to learn something with at least a chance at a small edge!
Basic card counting isn't that hard to learn actually and there are still some playable tables around, most places, i.e. with decent penetration on the shoe (one deck or so, deck-and-a-half maybe, cut out). Even a simple Ace-Five count -- if you're not up to learning full-blown hi-lo -- will get you about EVEN with the house. Or going with more advanced stuff like hole-carding or shuffle tracking is possible too, but harder to learn and usually needs a team approach to be really workable (two man minimum, sometimes up to 5-person team, to fill up the whole table when you find a really sloppy flashing dealer! Situations like that are kinda rare and require a lot of "scouting time" to uncover, but when you find one they can be freaking incredible: make more in a week than a card counter grinds out in a year, LOL... BUT you gotta be careful to milk it slowly until inevitably the pit gets wise and shuts her down LOL).
In any case, yeah I feel you... 6.5 large ouch that sucks. Six Pumpkins And A Barney: Variance is a bitch. The CASINOS are EVIL (but yeah I still go too sometimes, trying to break the bad habit - been playing blackjack over thirty years, seen it all, everything possible that can happen in the game has happened to me at least once, sometimes twice LOL but I still find it tough to fully leave it alone for very long LOL)
